Hey @llNovall Have you checked out the old 911 (930) Turbo '81? Certainly needs a tune to help deal with that death dealing rear end
I did get a few laps in at the tourist edition of the Nurburgring. Its twitchy, but very engaging to drive, especially heel toeing it with the hgate. Fun car.

I just realized today that I won't be available on the 16th of August as it is my favorite yearly event. This is the largest car event in Western Canada, and my wife and I go every year. I'll be waxing on and waxing off for the next couple of weeks lol.

Looks like a great show. Good luck! Make sure you post some pics of your hot rod and the others please

@govstruck
After review of all lap times from the final Exhibition night, the above drivers have been re-assigned from the Platinum driver Class to the Gold Class.

Please add all necessary liveries sent to you via PM, and be sure to change your tires to Race mediums.

All other drivers will remain in in their current driver placement.

-Race 3 points: direct total based on finishing position (16 points max for this race)

Perfect night will total 32 points.
**Note: points values may be separated by .5 due to averaging odd and even points/placements

Points Tie Breaking Policy follows same policy as Snail League shown below:
In the event of a tie at the end of a race night, the driver with the highest single race finish will be awarded the tie breaker. If both driver have the same best finish, use the second best finish. 2 wins would beat 1 win and 1 2nd place finish or 1 win and one 2nd place finish would beat 1 win and 1 3rd place finish. The driver who wins the tie breaker will be awarded .1 point on the score sheet only for the purpose of breaking the tie for that night. The .1 point will not count toward the season championship.
Driver Classifications
Different Tire compounds for each driver classification will be used to help equalize the pace of the driver talent levels.
Platinum Drivers:
-Upper 1/2 of Snail Driver's List
-will use Racing Hard (RH) Tires
-BLACK painted mirrors and Spoiler winglets, and black Cup Challenge numberplate with white numbers

Gold Drivers:
-Lower 1/2 of Snail Driver's List
-will use Racing Medium (RM) Tires
-YELLOW painted mirrors and Spoiler Winglets,
and yellow Cup Challenge numberplates with black numbers

What if the Snail Driver's List is an odd number of Divisions during driver placement/season start?
*Recently archived and current race data from the Snail Sunday night series will be used toward placement of active Split Division Snail drivers.
**New/Ex Snail drivers with limited or old data, and New NON-Snails will be required to run a control time trial for placement.

Driver Classification will be reviewed month to month, and will be amended as needed based on driver performance on previous race event(s).

*The series will field drivers as follows:
-16 Priority Drivers (list will be adjusted monthly based on driver activety)
-6 Reserve Driver slots will be available and will be listed in priority based on signup as well. (Reserve Drivers must PM me the day of the Race of their intent to be available, and should be ready to enter the race room between 9:50-10pm est if messaged.)

Race Teams
Race Teams will be comprised of at least 1 or more drivers with a limit of 3 drivers/team.

Linked below, are multiple Real World Race teams from the Yokohama Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA with car numbers associated with those team's liveries. You must chose to race for one of these teams, and then may chose one of the options below:

OPTION 1: Upon choosing a Real World team at sign-up, select a pre-rendered livery if available , or anyone who would like to race and re-create a real world car livery that is not pre-rendered under the team and number you select may do so and is encouraged. Please be sure to include this intent in your post to join/participate in the series.
https://porschegt3cupusa.imsa.com/teams

OPTION 2: Upon choosing a Real World team at sign-up, you are welcome to create your own livery with your choice of sponsor, however, the team logo or decal of the team you sign up for must be used on the car as well and placed as instructed. Also, you must use a number not listed from any real world Race Team liveries listed below. Please avoid contradicting sponsors when creating a custom livery. (Example: Yokohama is this series tire sponsor, avoid other tire manufacturers as main car sponsor. Yokohama livery would be ok.) Please be sure to include this intent in your post to join/participate in the series.

Note: ALL listed team's logos/names will be created and shared for use within the series. Sponsor decals for replica/recreated liveries will be your responsibility. (PM me if anyone needs help)

Once you are signed to a team and the season officially starts, you will race for that team for the entire season. You may sign to a new team for the next season if you choose.

Teams/Drivers - See this link for car pictures: https://porschegt3cupusa.imsa.com/teams
Note: Any additional, older/ special event car liveries/colors you can find under the selected Real Race Team Number is allowed to be rendered and raced.

Team Standings and Points

The points earned on a race night from every driver of a team who raced will be totaled, then divided by the number of drivers on the team to equal the Team Points awarded for the event. Single Driver Teams will be awarded the same number of points the driver earned for the night.

Example: (3 Driver Team)
Driver 1: 32 points
Driver 2: 24 points
Driver 3: 27 points
Total: 83 points ÷ 3 drivers = 27.67 Team points
*Teams Standings will be kept on a seperate spreadsheet page during the season.

NOTICE as of 6/11/2019:

Anyone having a change of heart on team/livery choices or would like to team up with someone who has signed up more recently, may post here in the thread of their change before August 1st. If choosing a new team, remember that there is a maximum of 3 drivers per team, and that you must choose a real world livery/liveries that are still available for use or change the team name on your car if you created your own livery. For anyone who has chosen their own number and created their own livery, you may make two additional alternate liveries for use under the same number for the season and add it to your sign up post with your original livery or if there are multiple real world liveries under a given number, they may be rendered and used as well. Please remember the Series Uniformity regarding decal placement and Team decaling if any changes or new livery creations are made.

You have been added to the drivers list as the Fifth Reserve Driver, and rated at a Gold Class. Please review the first post of the thread for all the series details if you have not already.
Also, please review and get familiar with the Reserve Driver Process, and be sure to add and save all Gold Class liveries available in the same link. Glad to have you, and welcome aboard.

Are drivers needed for the 16th? If so what time is the race at?
This is a members only season series with driver placement and specific processes so sign ups are required. I do have 1 final Reserve Driver opening left on the drivers list to fill. If you are interested, please review the first post linked below, and follow the instructions to sign up at the bottom of the post. A welcome message will follow with further instruction pertaining to a Reserve Driver and running a time trial for placement.
SNAIL- Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge (Monthly, Friday Night Race Series at 9:30pm EST)
Read carefully regarding the "Reserve driver Process". I cant promise that there will be a grid opening on race night, but if signed up and available and there is an opening that has not been filled, you will be eligible and called to race. Hope it still interests you.
