4.1. CRC online events are clean racing environments. Rough, but fair competition is expected. Accidents will be reviewed after each race when reported and post race penalties may be assessed.
4.2. Drivers attempting to lap other competitors will need to exercise patience in passing. Drivers in danger of being lapped for the first time have the right to fight to remain on the lead lap. Once the leader has gone by, lapped cars are no longer permitted to defend from other cars attempting to pass, and are expected to maintain a predictable line while being lapped.
4.2.1. Drivers only one lap down at oval racing events are permitted to attempt to return to the lead lap.

Astroturf, grass, dirt, sand, painted tarmac, and tarmac outside of the white lines along the edges of the racing surface cannot be used to gain a lasting advantage such as completing an overtake, defending a position, or gaining time on a car behind or in front.
4.4.1. Penalties regarding track limits will only be assessed based on if drivers gained a measurable time advantage or positions on track.
4.5. Pit entry and exit lines are to be respected at all times. Pit lines are defined as solid lines (white or yellow), that lead into pit lane, and lead out of pit lane back onto the racing surface.
4.6. Drivers that prematurely leave a race once will be given a disciplinary warning for the first offense. The second time a driver leaves a race before the finish, the driver will be removed from the full time roster and placed in the list of wild card/part time drivers.
4.7. Drivers vying to defend a position on track are allowed to make as many moves as they deem fit. Drivers that attempt to block reactively are subject to potential penalization if the reactive maneuver a) pushes a driver off of the racing surface, b) causes unnecessary contact, or c) directly contributes to an otherwise avoidable collision.
4.8. Drivers cannot begin an attempt to overtake a competitor while not on the racing surface. Drivers that begin an attempt while off track (by creating a physical overlap) must relinquish the time gained and must return to the racing surface before creating a new attempt.
4.9. Drivers that cause four avoidable collisions within a four race span will be subject to a one race suspension from the series.
4.9.1. Additionally, drivers that cause three avoidable collisions in a single race will be forced to park for the remainder of the event in question.
5.1. Lobbies for each event weekend are scheduled to open at 7:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time. From the moment the lobby opens, there will be 30 minutes of warm up practice.
5.2. Between the warm up session and qualifying, all drivers will be directed to do a visibility check to ensure all drivers can see each other. Drivers that do not see the full grid must reset their games and clear their temporary system data before rejoining the lobby.
5.3. Qualifying will begin at approximately 7:35 p.m. Eastern U.S. time. All drivers will have 15 minutes to set the best lap they can.
5.3.1. When qualifying ends, drivers will be able to complete their current lap before concluding their qualifying session.
5.4. All races will utilize a manual formation lap with a rolling start. Drivers will go about the formation lap at 50 mph/80 kph for road courses and events at Northern Isle, and 62 mph/100kph for events at Blue Moon Bay.
5.4.1. Drivers will stay single file until they have entered the final sector of the track. The pole sitter has the ability to choose which lane they want to start in, while the rest of the field starting with row 2 will line up with the 3rd place driver lining up on the inside lane and 4th place lining up on the outside lane. Inside and outside lanes are in correspondence to the direction of turn 1.
5.5. The start and restart zone will be designated as being between the pit lane entry line and the beginning of the pit wall.
6.1. Safety car periods, also known as full course yellows or cautions, can be brought out to neutralize the race for periods of time deemed fit by race officials.
6.1.1. The criteria for a Safety Car deployment (SCD), are the following:
6.1.1.1. Mass disconnection, described as three or more competitors disconnecting from the lobby in 120 seconds.
6.1.1.2. Serious accident involving 3 or more cars regardless of severity of mechanical damage received (mechanical damage must be received in some capacity to count).
6.1.1.3. Serious accident in which two cars receive engine damage.
6.1.1.4. An accident where a driver has come to rest in a dangerous location in relation to other competitors and the racing line.
6.2. In the case of a mass disconnection, the Safety Car driver, race official, or the race leader, will type "SCD MD" and lead the field to a red flag stop before the start/finish line.
6.2.1. The race official and/or Safety Car driver will record the order of the drivers remaining and then everyone will exit the race and wait for the disconnected drivers to return. Once the drivers have returned, the race will restart with with less time based on how much time was remaining when the mass disconnect occured.
6.2.2. Disconnected drivers will be scored based on the final lap they completed before being disconnected, and will start at the rear of the field on the race restart.
6.3. In the case of an accident causing a safety car deployment, the field will proceed at racing speed until they finish their current lap. Afterwards, they must maintain a reasonable speed above 70 miles per hour to catch the safety car queue.
6.4. Once a caution has been called, pit lane will close. Drivers that enter pit lane before it has been reopened will take the restart at the rear of the entire field.
6.4.1. Once all cars have reached the safety car queue, pit lane will open for lead lap cars first. The next lap, the pit lane will open for all cars, including cars a lap down or more.
6.4.2. The first car a lap down will be given the Lucky Dog Pass, in which they will be permitted to pass the field under caution after the entire field has caught up to the safety car queue for the first time.
6.4.3. Cars that are not intending on pitting during the caution may take a wavearound. Cars taking a wavearound may pass the safety car on the final lap of the caution as long as they are between the safety car and the race leader. Cars taking a wavearound are not permitted to enter pit lane until after the race has returned to racing conditions.
6.4. Under a Safety Car period, all drivers must be single file, with two car lengths minimum between each car for most of the period.
6.5. The safety car will run at the same speed as the formation lap.
6.6. Once the field enters the last sector of the track approaching the end of the caution, drivers will line up double file in similar fashion to the start of the race, with the race leader selecting their lane, while all drivers restarting in row 2 or lower line up with odd numbered positions starting on the inside lane and even numbered positions starting on the outside lane.
6.7. Races can end under caution if the safety car is called for with under four laps left in the race.
6.8. Overtaking other competitors under safety car conditions is prohibited unless a) the car being overtaken is below safety car speed b) the car being overtaken is off track, c) the car being passed has mechanical damage, or d) the race official is instructing drivers to follow certain safety car procedures.
7.1. Points will be awarded to all drivers, regardless on if they take the checkered flag. Drivers that do not finish an event will be scored basic points for their finishing position, but will not collect any of the potential bonus points.
7.2. For finishing a race in first place, that driver will receive 15 points.
7.3. For finishing a race in second place, that driver will receive 14 points.
7.4. For finishing a race in third place, that driver will receive 13 points.

Updated posts 1 and 2 to include some fixes.
-Updated driver roster.
-Corrected road course package in rulebook.
-Adjusted calendar.

A vote was held on CRC's Discord server regarding how the season should start. An overwhelming majority voted in favor of having a pair of duel races to determine the starting grid to the CRC 400, instead of having an exhibition race.

Going to post a pre-season update. The following things are in the process of being changed:
1) Calendar is being expanded to 16 races total, with the addition of Tokyo South Outer Loop, Fuji Speedway, BB Raceway, and Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit. The Chase for the Cup venues will not be altered.
2) Adding an additional bonus point for the fastest lap of the race, making a total of 5 bonus points on offer for each race weekend.
3) Each Mello Yello Duel winner will receive 3 championship points that will go into effect at the end of the CRC 400.

Additionally, the following changes are tentative based on if the series gets up to 13 full time entries.
1) In addition to the 5 drivers locked into the Chase for the Cup based on points order, a 6th Chase driver may be included based on number of wins and whether the driver can attend all four races of the Chase. To be eligible, a driver must attend at least 3 races, and must have at least 1 win.
