I also made the Optimum Y.co British GT McLaren. It had to be made on the 650 instead of the 720 but it turned out OK.

I went looking for a Cayman GT4 to do a livery on and noticed a nice black and yellow Schmickler Performance one on the VLN. I had to make quite a few of the decals on it, and also got some help from @Famine and @Cytoria for ones I didn't recognise. I also liked that it was number 917 (see what they did there?)

I then noticed its teammate 959 (see what they did there pt.2) and being Scottish, I'm a sucker for a blue and white car.

I had to cobble together the "Flying Horse" can on the front bumper and, while it is very rough close up, I'm insanely happy at how it turned out.

2 Seas Motorsport McLaren GT3. I've said it before and no doubt I'll say it again, but we really need the 720 GT3 in GT. This is a 720 livery that I've moved to the 650 making some slight changes to suit the shape.

I also want to commend 2 Seas and their designer MDM Designs for not only having a website that listed the vast majority of their sponsors, but also having the logos of those companies in svg format, ready made for GT (although I'm sure that's not why they did them...)

For a GT livery user, that's manna from heaven right there.

Tegiwa BMW GT4.

I saw this when it was revealed and thought it was a lovely looking livery. After commending 2 seas above, this was a nightmare of unknown company logos, company logos that were different from their usual, and companies that seemingly had no logo but it somehow was on the car. I get that you sponsor a car to get your name out there, but if you make the logo a random image or phrase, it's not really going to help people find you. Anyway, here is the lovely Tegiwa M4 GT4.

Our famous @daan strikes again:

Talk about recognition!

This is for the 27racers "Norman Dewis 100" tonight. N400 E-type at unchicaned La Sarthe, no assists. The top 16 get into to the main race with the chance of real prizes from Jaguar* and I've currently qualified 10th. This race seems to have attracted a few of the GT alumni with the likes of @Jomas @khkenni @mclarenLB and @GTP_Ingram taking part.

* The top three in the main race will receive complimentary tours of Jaguar Classic’s state-of-the-art Classic Works facility at Ryton-on-Dunsmore in Warwickshire – the largest of its kind in the world – plus a passenger ride in a D-type Continuation and an E-type drive (once social distancing allows).

I wish you the best of luck (and skills) for tonight, then!
I got 10th.

I could have got 8th but screwed up with my stint lengths and braking, (I find it tricky to drive in GTS without ABS.) I had planned to do 3 stints of 4 laps each, but miscalculated my fuel (in a good way) and ended up doing 5 lap first stint. My middle stint was 4 laps and that left me with 3 at the end. Tyre wear was 15x so I went hard, hard, medium, but in hindsight I should have went medium, medium, soft. (I was worried that locking up, which I am prone to do, kills the tyres.) After my last stop, I was 9 seconds behind the 2 cars ahead, and was catching them at 3 seconds a lap. I was nearly with them on the last lap, but ended up locking up and going off at Mulsanne. I had quite a lonely race due to my speed and pit strategy but had a good time.

Some mid 80's F1.

* Do a search of gtswiki livery page and you'll find over 200 "JPS Lotus" of that Senna bloke, and only 1 of poor old Johnny Dumfries and that one doesn't even have his name on it. Shocking. Well that's 2 now, and this one does have name on it!

He did the Beyond the Grid podcast recently and I was impressed by his honesty about his carreer. Great stuff.
