Yo Men, my weekly update on the Daily C incoming.
Maybe a Bit early but due to my Work Schedule i won‘t be able to do more Racing at Sardegna, so Here my Short

thoughts on this Weeks Race experience.
Man, that was once again a very successful and thrilling Week with lots of Wins and many Podium finishes.
But also we had the occasional Brain free punt and disrespectful barge pass.
Like the week before at Spa, it was so much fun and I couldn’t stop doing race after race.
I switched between all of my 4 Accounts and gave my opponents a good racing time.
And by mentioning racing, I mean racing.
Real racing

Something that 95% of the folks I met probably have never heard of

It’s astonishing how little racecraft and honor a lot of people showed.
I did about 30 Races I guess and mostly it was a blast.
Usually I started Between 5th to 10th.
I‘m not into qualifying that much I drive 10 minutes, set a lap and that’s it for the rest of the week.
I was driving my beloved 458, like I always do.
Best Car ever

Thing is, I had a Strategy. Well, the problem was that apparently most of the people around me didn’t.
Partly it was hilarious but that’s another Story to be told.
Despite having loads of fun, I once again was tought what the main problem with many races is.
It’s the different approaches almost everyone has during these races.
You just can’t fit them all under a hat, on the track and for sure not within 15 laps.
From my experience there are 3 main Problems or problematic behavior.
We have the hot lappers, god, by far the worst sort of people you meet on track.
They treat every lap like they are driving for their lives, bardging and nudging their way through the field like there’s no tomorrow. Respect? A foreign Word to them.
Some here In this thread

said it’s some kind of killer instinct or winner mentality and every competitive driver has it, but that’s just a poor excuse for not showing respect and honor to your opponents. Period.
Sorry but I play racing Games for over 25years and I have NEVER driven like that.
It’s just not cool.
Even the top players in GTS show these “skills“ like I experienced again while being involved on some YouTuber Streams.
Best thing is if THEY do it it’s ok, coz they say hey I’m a fast driver it’s my right to nudge you now and here.
But beware if it’s done to them they cry around how stupid the others are and how stupid the penalties given are
Second Problem we have are the sort of players, I call them Qualy-Heroes

Which often leads to Problem Number 1 explained above.
These type of players spent hours and hours on Qualifying, trying to improve their time over the week to brag around how fast they are and how high their Kudos Speed Score is.
If they then manage to start up front, they continue their hot lapping style, probably get their occasional Win if they manage to not bottle it and feel proud like Oscar, tapping their backs what kind of super drivers they are

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not bashing these people it’s just their type of amusement and that’s ok, as long as it doesn’t interfere with my standards by which I drive.
Well and the third Problem are the inexperienced gamers, with the not deliberately punt.
They just can’t control the Car miss the braking points and stuff. Some of them are even quite fast, many of them even faster than me.
But being fast without Control is a bad combination for having good and clean races.
So overall after being absent for almost a year and coming back to GTS, I must say it hasn’t changed that much.
It depends a lot on luck who you get matched with.
One bad apple can ruin the whole experience, but i never rage quit or give up.
It’s about having fun and this game provides so much of it, I definitely will drive on, until my old and grumpy feet will serve me
