Deleting "Game Data Utility"

I have found several statements that imply the answer to my question but none to answer it with certainty.
Question -- If I delete "Game Data Utility" for GT5, will it require not only reinstalling my game disk but also will all of the updates. I am on a USA DLS service and the process of installing just one of the bigger updates takes quite a while. Reinstalling all of them would take hours.

All I'm after is correcting some very early poor decisions to engine mod my stealth cars. I would like to have them now without those uncorrectable mods. When we first began the game this was one way to move through the game when my credit stash was not up to new purchases from the dealers

You would have to reinstall everything for GT5 by doing that. You would also lose any replays and photos you have in the game that aren't exported.

Also you will find after you re-install everything you will loose alot of thumnails in you garage for standard and premium cars, getting them back is a long wait in itself. Not the end of the world but be prepared for a long wait if you are edging to play.

Dont see what you would gain by this, if you want them back to the intended BHP use the power limiter for quicker results.
