I know it's not much but it's my first video so here goes nothing:

Drifting in online-mode with a couple of friends who were racing in M3's.

Fully stock ofcourse with N1 tyres.

Enjoy (please).:nervous:

I like it. Long, smooth and steady, clean line. 👍 👍 👍
We want more! :D How about a full drift lap?

P.S.:
Of course, the expectations are high... since you're from finland,
where people pick up a car in the backyard at age 14 and drive it on gravel
roads and snow for years before they even have a licence ;)

Somehow that sounds familiar... quite a shame that I don't have a backyard.

Good drifting, the countersteer is spot on and the car just glides over the tarmac, quite an achievement as it is equipped with the stock open differential. 👍

Thanks for the nice replies.

Unfortunately I don't have the equipment to make videos myself (one of the M3 drivers recorded this while we were watching the replay), so I can't promise any larger drift videos unless me and him decide to make one.

I think Juha Kankkunen was the only one who did that. :)

Too bad. Same goes for me, gotta buy myself a card... :banghead:
So you guys were throwing a lan party? How many PS2's were hooked up? :D
I can see two M3's in the distance...

In my humble opinion this might also apply to
Rauno Aaltonen, Timo Mäkinen, Simo Lampinen, Pauli Toivonen,
Tapio Rainio, Hannu Mikkola, Pentti Airikkala, Markku Alen,
Leo Kinnunen, Lasse Lampi, Ari Vatanen, Henri Toivonen,
Timo Salonen, Mikael Sundström, Sebastian Lindholm,
Marcus Grönholm, Toni Gardemeister, Jarmo Kytölehto,
Harri Rovanperä, Tapio Laukkanen, Pasi Hagström, and
especially to Tommi Mäkinen (World Rally Champion 96, 97, 98, 99).

What? No backyard??? How's that possible? Then maybe my theory is wrong... :D

Actually one of the M3's is permanently in LAN with me, we have an unusual internet setup here, and the other M3 driver connected to our game using VPN (no xlink).

What I meant was that Juha Kankkunen was the one who was driving on dirtroads at 14 faster than the pro's at the time.

All right, I get it now.
Well, at age 47 he's probably still faster than most. Kinda funny, I just found
this page that says he is an Audi S1 owner: http://audis1.no.sapo.pt/20carsonly.htm

And it seems he is doing finnish Rallyecross in a M3 now? (I don't understand much of this site...)

Wow, that was pretty good! I must say, I was pretty impressed; it was a very smooth drift, pretty good angle too. I did that once with the SS AE86 with N2s... Fun stuff. Keep it up! I'll be looking forward to a full lap replay.
