:confused:Is the Dodge Dart like a bug? I bought it as a D Class tune. I got kicked from online races twice when in the lobby with it, before I ever put it on a track. I am a clean racer.

Not only is the Dart bugged, it has also been banned from posting leaderboard times by Turn 10, along with some other cars.

Ah rightio... So why would he get kicked for that? Even though the pi is lower is the car still more powerful or something?

It works like this:

You put the Viper's engine in the Dodge Dart, but it keeps the old transmition. Now, the VIper's engine has a much lower redline. And since it doesn't rev as high, the car's top speed is drastically lowered (100mp/h or something). The low top speed drops the PI significantly.

Afterwards, you can do a lot to the car without ever increasing the PI a lot, as it is held down by the low top speed. As a result, the car will accelerate much faster, corner better, brake harder and handle better than anything that it's going to compete with. This is especially important because there are a lot of tracks where the low top speed doesn't keep its lap times in check or is only slowing it down insiginificantly.

Basically, the Dart can be turned into an S-Class car while still staying in C-Class. This is becomes morre appearent if you were to put the adjustable sport transmission into it. It will suddenly jump up several classes, from an upgrade that usually increases PI by 10 points at best.

All of that results in a car that is basically invincible for "normal" cars, unless you are on a track like the Nordschleife, ovals or La Sarthe, where high top speeds are needed to post good lap times.

That's why people are kicking you from lobbiees for using it. Nobody wants to enter a race only to be dominated by an invincible, bugged car.
