I don't have an X-Port:banghead:
So I thought I'd put this thread here so people without X-Ports can post hybrids, and someone may pick their idea up and give them some feedback as to how they were:) and maybe even some pics:D

i guess i'll try the RX-8 hybrid. i'm assuming you've made it already, nitro?

you didn't give any details so this is the way i'm going to do it. i'll win an F1 (hopefully a F094/s) and use the 787B base name GS code to buy the parts and use the RX-8 chassis and body GS codes for the exterior. it's kind of a basic plan, but i'm new at all this hybrid stuff. i'll let you know how it is.

a recent hybrid i did was a Nismo Skyline GT-R R-Tune that performs like a F094/s. basically, the way i made it is the same as what i'm planning to do with the RX-8/787B. i won a F094/s and used the Nismo Skyline GT-R R-Tune base name, color, body, and chassis GS codes and fully modified it (except the parts that are already "purchased"). if anyone tries it, let me know what you think. i'm in the process of tweeking the gear ratios and what not.

ok, the way i setup the RX-8 hybrid sucked. it only allowed me to buy only a couple 787B parts.. so scratch that idea. i might try and use GS codes for the 787B parts. the hybrid is ok even without them though.. its around +900hp. it drove like a regular F1.

i'll try your idea out at the same time, deimos... i need more practice making hybrids anyway.

Here it is

All you have to do is mess around with the gears, before you do any driving/testing/racing. It should work out alright, considering I just threw this together. :odd:

Er...fish_bate, if you'd read the title, you would've noticed that the people giving the ideas don't have Xports/GameSharks.

I know, I'm replying to nitro_2003's post.

That's the car that I built. I saw the idea, liked it, built the car, and posted it. What, you want a whole bunch of ideas floating around, with nobody to take advantage of them?

ARRRRGGGGHHHH:)

No!!!!

The idea was that you made the cars, tested them out, then gave the feedback to the maker. What use is an ini to someone without an x-port?

Baasically. But i see what you meant now. It's just the idea is that the person who's idea is gets a bit of feedback to find out what their car was like...

But the cant use it for anything:odd: can they:rolleyes:

after a long week of studying and killing brain cells, i can now have some time to work on some hybrids. i see no one has posted any more ideas... i'll post my thoughts on that XKR/XJ220 asap.

you guys enjoy this hybrid stuff?? where's the challenge? the fun? kinda borin with cheats... although i would never know how it would be like since i didn't buy a gameshark for ps2...

its just seeing the coolest, funniest, stupidest thing you can make. also its one of the very few ways you can get the diablo. also it just kinda cool to do things like have an indy car do rally.

SHIFT, i have beaten GT3 numerous times and what else can i do? it gets very bland and repetitive. all one can do is race more, practice drifting, etc etc. with hybrids, i can add a little spice. i just recently got a gameshark from a friend. i'm not sure if anyone here actually uses the gameshark to cheat. it's not even that hard to beat the game. try it and you'll soon realize how fun and challenging it is.

The X-port/Shark Port is a system that connects your Ps2 to your Computer. origanly used to turn your computer into a memory car. well some good people found that we could make hybrids using a program and the saved game. lost story short, you will need a GameShark/ActionReplay/CodeBreaker, X-port/SharkPort/ and ofcorse the most important part, the Computer. you need the GS/AR/CB to basicly boot up the Xport. The program we use is the MK program, which can be found in a thread at one of the forums. thanks to a good friend in the forums,Famine , has provided us with a guide to use it. the rest is preatty self explanitory.

You do not need a coding device(gameshark/action replay/codebreaker) to use the sharkport/xport, or to make hybrids using mk's program. The Xport is available here.

Well Datel had no idea that we were going to use that device to edit gamesaves. I use the Sharkport, the older model of that particular device, and it is a completly different device than a GS or AR although you can use the transfer device to put codes on the GS/AR dongle, it is still used to transfer gamesaves which is a diffeent function, which does not require a coding device.
