DR points down of more than 5000 in one daily race

Hi, new here
hello to all :-)

I just ended one daily race started 5th ended 8th and my rank went down from 12073 to 7000. Sr from 40 to 6 I think.
I had a couple of penalty but how this can happen?

it's the second time this happen to me and I don't know where to address this issue.

Is this normal?

Is this normal?

Yup. Here's why:

Sr from 40 to 6 I think.

Your SR fell so far below your DR, that it reset your DR to match it.

If your SR rank falls two levels (and a bit) below your DR rank, your DR score gets reset to roughly the middle of the DR rank that matches it.
