Does anyone know if the fanatec h shifter definitely works with ps5 g pro base and drivehub? I’m ready to move on from the Logitech h shifter.
Should work great. You’ll just need the Fanatec USB adapter for the shifter to connect to the drive hub.
Just got a drivehub, updated to latest beta firmware and my CSL DD still says g29 no matter if it's in fanatec mode or not. The drivehub scrolls to say GT DD pro but gt7 shows g29 in the wheel settings. Should I reflash the firmware?
Also hoping that the simjack ultimate pedals are supported soon as currently plugging them in stops everything working.
You need to switch the drivehub from FanaLogic mode to Fanatec mode.

It doesn't work in fanatec mode, drivehub scrolls saying GT DD pro but in gt7 still says g29

Does anyone know if the Simagic P1000 pedals are working w/ dDrivehub? I notice they're listed as compatible on the site but I want to make sure before I make a purchase.

Also I can confirm that plugging in the TH8A shifter and TSS handbrake into a USB hub works in GT7

Does anyone know if drive hub supports BDH H1 shifter on PS5? I have Logitech g pro wheel and BDH H1 shifter that I would love to use in GT7. I don't have the drive hub at the moment, but I will order one if anyone can confirm.

That one is not listed on their web site so I doubt it works. Wish I had a unit that nice to try!

In the past @Podger has been able to work with people if they have the product they can capture cpu data from it and send it to him. Podger can often get it going. But he’s gone from here at least. Try to contact collective minds. Just because it’s not on the list, doesn’t mean it can’t be added with the right data.

Thanks for the reply. I sent an email to the support team, but haven't heard anything back. I also tagged @Podger initially, but edited it out after I saw that he's missing in action. That's too bad, but because I would be willing to buy it (even if it doesn't work out of the box, but I can work with the dev directly). I assume this isn't open sourced in github or anything?

Also, looking at boosted media's youtube clip, I believe the shifter uses a generic usb encoder board, so I was somewhat hopeful that the drive hub supports it somehow. I'm not 100% sure, but looking at the youtube clip, I think it's this one:

Checking the thread back, there was some issues raised regarding the FFB on CSL DD following the 1.49 physics update. Can anyone say if these have since been resolved?

Looking to upgrade from a TS-PC, which has worked flawlessly with DH since the beginning. CSL DD 8mn looks like the best budget candidate, but most of my rig-time is spent on GT7

Did Simagic p1000 pedals ever worked with drivehub? If it did, when did it stop working (it is listed as compatible on CM’s site)? I just bought both and it does not work on ps5. I have the native GT DD Pro base/wheel so that works as it’s suppose to but inputs from the Simagic p1000 is non-existent.

Unfortunately the main guy who could answer and make firmware updates to add devices, is no longer active on here. This was the conduit to all questions. He helped me get my Frex going, and other settings. He was awesome and helped everyone. Alas, CM doesn’t seem to have any replacement for him. I know nothing about the company but obviously people are still buying hubs. I hope he is ok. Creative minds would continue to sell more hubs if someone reappeared on here. A lot of people make their decision to buy one based solely on this thread. Myself included.

I've held off on bothering CM because they didn't have answers, and I felt like I was bothering their customer service team. They assured me the issues would be addressed soon. I was so confident that Simagic would work because the VNM shifter works perfectly with the G Pro. I feel they should remove items from the compatibility list if they are not working. If I didn't already have a great shifter I'd be more upset. I've chosen to ride this out and be patient. I truly hope they sort the Simagic stuff out because my next purchase is the p1000 pedals. Fingers crossed.

Yea I hear you. I based my purchase of the p1000 pedals on the fact that it was on the compatibility list since I’m mainly on console. I do plan on getting a PC at some point so it’s not a complete waste. PC definitely allows for less headaches in terms of mix and matching products. But it is definitely not a great business practice for CM to keep invalid information online. Just kinda bummed that I can’t use/test the new pedals.

I realized I could look back in conversation and I want to share what I learned. This may help, but obviously not to fruition without CM or someone updating.

I hope this helps at least verify possible compatibility. But once you capture the needed data, still need someone to input it.

I have a Drive Hub firmware update problem! I can't update and since then I can't even shield from the firmware update flashing all the green LED's on my hand. I tried on a laptop with two USB ports. I need help. Thank you!

Took the plunge and upgraded to a CSL DD 8nm, and some other goodies.

Problem: After a few seconds, no input was being accepted from the wheel, in PC mode or compatibility mode. Even if pedals and shifter wasn't connected. Noticed when trying again today, the green LEDs on the back were going out at the same moment the DH stopped accepting inputs from the wheel.

Solution: Plugged a powered USB hub into the accessory port. Immediately, everything works correctly, running latest beta (2.1.2 beta 37). Wheel recognised as the GT DD Pro, working with T-Lcm pedals + Fanatec shifter. This has persisted through several equipment restarts, so I'm confident its no longer an issue.

Prior to this I tried a new USB cable (no change), earlier CSL DD firmware revisions (no change), and reverting to an earlier DH firmware (2.1.1, and I think 2.1.2 beta 21). The earlier firmware versions worked but FFB wasn't feeling right.

Just an FYI to anyone who is looking to use a Logitech g pro wheel with accessories from other brands… it’s sketchy.

At least for my thrustmaster t-lcm pedals with the pc only version of the g pro wheel and a ps4, it’s a no go. Intermittent at best. If anyone knows of a fix or hears of an update please let me know.

Thanks

Ive been wondering if the aliexpress simjack pedals would work with the drivehub. Seeing as they use diview to tune, which is the same as he ultimates used to use. They're essentially HE sprint clones. Anyone tried?
Did you ever find the answer for this?

Well, I’m at a loss and will probably be returning my drivehub. I have tried it with multiple shifters now and the shifters simply don’t work. Most recently ordered the VNM shifter and got nothing when trying to shift with it. FFB feels great and exactly like it does without the shifter, but if I can’t use any shifter other than the horrible Logitech one with my g pro wheel I see no point in keeping the drivehub. I guess if I don’t hear back from support to get things working I’ll look into modding a Logitech shifter instead.
I am running into the exact same issue right now.

I am in this exact same boat except im using a regular CSL DD that registers fine but no input from the p1000's at all. Would really love to know what the fix is

Never got mine working, so I ended up eating like $75 in shipping and restocking fees. Made me feel better than sitting on $450 in non-functioning shifter equipment. I ended up back with the horrible Logitech shifter and spent some time modding it to make it feel better. Would have loved it if everything worked.

Wanted to update the thread on a wild turn of events.

TLDR: @gamefreak054 bought the same open box shifter I had returned and it's unsurprisingly not working for them either. Maybe I'll get my restocking fees back from SimMotion thanks them.

Other's have had success with the VNM shifter and have got it working recently with the DriveHub but I purchased the VNM shifter from SimMotion and it never did work. I could get it to calibrate, but couldn't ever get it working in game with the DriveHub. CollectiveMinds wasn't really any help with debugging and neither was SimMotion and VNM. Though I did have a few people here that tried to help as much as they could. Well, as I said before, I returned everything and figured I'd cut my losses and move on. Fast forward to now, @gamefreak054 ended up purchasing an open box VNM shifter from SimMotion that is also not working. We just found out that he did in fact purchase the same VNM shifter that I had that ended up not working. Now I might actually get my restocking fees and such returned to me because the shifter is also not working for him. Would be pretty wild if I just got really unlucky with a VNM shifter and that other VNM shifters work just fine. Anyways, because of this, I might need to give DriveHub another chance and see if I can get a better shifting experience than the horrible Logitech shifter.

I wish I understood how my VNM has worked for months plug and play without issue and others are having no success. I'm still holding on to my Simagic shifter. Collective Minds emailed me yesterday and said they are still waiting for the update.

I got it working. For other peoples reference, I had to flash to 2.0.0.7 I believe it was on the vnm shifter. Then had to calibrate it. I flashed it down to this level before but I think something else was screwing it up or I didnt flash it correctly. I had to give quite a few attempts at calibrating it before it operated like I wanted.

My set up is CSL DD, Heusinkveld handbrake, TM TLCM, vnm v1 shifter, and TM TSS.

Some further notes. I cant use the TSS and the VNM without significant lag on the VNM shifter. Im going to try an USB switcher so I can leave both hooked up and swap them on the fly with a button push.

I had to be in fanatec mode for all this to work. I have two wheels, one with a clubsport hub and 2 button modules. I had to buy an regular fanatec wheel for it to register the share/select into fanatec mode properly.

Now everything works relatively properly.
