So anyone get this game for pc? I played the PS2 verison and XBOX, and i am wondering if the PC version is any different. How are the graphics? Gameplay?

i doubt it's any different..i don't have it but i have also played it on PS2 and well i think it's pretty sweet how they made it so realistic with the crashes and how it influences the performance and look of your car

The PC version is nearly identicle to the PS2 version, albeit in a higher resolution and less slowdown. Although on my machine for some reason bullet holes can only be seen on the car when its in shadow...

All the faults are intact and it doesn't come across as a good conversion peformance wise atleast. Although the crashes are still impressive, they don't seem as spectacular.

I'm still wondering why my XBOX copy of Driver 3 was R16 but I saw a PC copy which was R18. Is there more violence in the game or what? It's probably a mistake but I'm just checking.

The idea of playing DRIV3R makes me want to vomit.

Even the term 'playing' is being too kind. Running onto the beach during the D-Day landing, nude, with the words "shoot me in the balls" spray-painted on my stomach would be more appealing than trying to wring any fun from this 'game'.

At its core I believe Driver 3 isn't a bad game, its just too rushed and slapped together at the last minute. Pity they didn't remedy this for the PC release, but I can't say I'm suprised. It amuses me how some reviewers complained about the handling of the cars, yet praised it in the older incarnations. I think the key thing is you have to NOT compare it to GTA whilst playing it. They are not the same game.

As for the violence it looks the same to me.
