DVD not working

ok im having some problems with my DVD Player on my PC,ever since i formatted my HD about 2 months ago i keep having this same problem when running Power DVD and the DVD on Windows media player.it keeps coming up saying
TheTV Out port of your display card is not working properly.

and then when you click detailed
This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled.

it works with some dvds but not with others
also the DVD player on my PS2 now only plays DVDs in black and white and not colour now:confused:
anyone know how i can fix these please..........:(
 
ive never heard of that promlem with wmp. you might have to call them and talk to a technition. but with the ps2 problem, try using a different cable or makign sure both sides are in all the way. is it in color for games?
