Effective Blending in Photoshop

Some people are asking how I blended these 2 images together to make this banner:

Here is how:

Open up an image. Now open up the image you want to blend.
Create a new layer on the first image you opened up.
Copy and paste the image you want blended into this layer.
You must make sure that the image you want to blend is on top of the image you want to blend it to.
Using the Rectangular Marquee tool, select about 3/4 of the second image.
Inverse the selection (Select > Inverse).
Go to Selection > Feather and set it to about 15-20.
Hit Delete.

I didnt know that was blended... it looked like you just copy and pasted the images.

Once you get used to masks you will never go back. 👍

Go search for a "layer mask tutorial" at google...
