I love how the Forza developers included this idea, I've been waiting for a game to do this for so damn long. Changing the engine completely changes the character of the car and I love the way you can put new, high-tech motors in older cars.
Anyway, I created this thread because I want to know all the possible engine swaps that you can do. I'll start off the ones that I've found:
Mazda MX5/Miata 1.8: 13B Rotary Turbo, makes the little MX5 crazy fast, it basically doubles the stock kws and can be modded all the way up to 397kw.
Mazda RX7 Spirit R: 20B Rotary, no change in power but waaaay torquier (is that a word?) and much smoother, linear power delivery.
Ford Mustang Boss 429: 5.4L Supercharged, from the Ford GT supercar, can be supercharged to 560kw! Makes traction a bit of a worry though.
Toyota Trueno GT Apex: 3SGE, 3SGTE, I put the 3SGTE in mine because I wanted the slightly better acceleration and turbo power. Once again makes traction near impossible
Porsche 911 Carrera RS: 996 GT2 motor, I wasn't expecting this but a welcome addition, I'm going to change this into my Carrera when I'm done with the Pro C Class races and the Unmodified Pre-1975 class.
Please post any other transplants you've done along with a little description if possible and maybe a max power rating too, again if possible. Thanks
