F1 FALTERS? Monday 21st May
A statement issued by Fiat on Friday suggests that BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Fiat, Ford and Renault are to set up a rival race series to Formula One. Concerns over the broadcasting rights to F1 have supposedly prompted the manufacturers to take matters into their own hands. The series is planned to be ready to run in 2008. Could this be the undoing of Ecclestone's empire?
