Did a 3:11 cutting all the way, i really would like to hit a sub-3:10 time. How u guys do it aye? ;)

3:11? thats some driving, no chance in hell id be able to take 4sec's off my best time. would like to see a video cause I thought I was flying at 3:15

My driving is just average compared to all the others who get 3:05s and lower. I cant find any places where i could drop some time, maybe the 90 degree turn and the other left turn is where im losing it.
 
I've been up by half a second on my 3:03.842 lap, I just keep getting it wrong and crashing or loosing the time really easy. :ouch:
 
So far my best time is in the 3:14's. I did have one run that I think would've been under 3:12, maybe even 3:10, but I smashed the wall at the very end, crossed the finish line in reverse and still got a 3:19 lol. I'd definitely like to see a video of a 3:03 time.

I'm gonna post a video at some point, for now you can find my split times on the 3rd post from the bottom on page 12.
 
3:15:8xx - Enzo with some tweaks. Controller use. Cut all three chicanes, of course. :lol:

Oh is see your already down to 56secs on the second split, i manage 59secs. And thats 3 secs lost already haha. 💡

If you'd looked further down the page, there are the splits for my 3:03.842 lap. On that lap the second split was 55.4xx and I've had it down to 55.2xx. Good luck ;)

If you're grinding to get the money and xp, my average times were probably 3:05-3:07's once I got them really fast, and I'd be cursing at a 3:09 or higher. Then you've got the one's where everything goes wrong, you get a time over 4 minutes and come second. Then all bets are off, time to ram the lead Enzo on the next lap to teach him a lesson for beating you in the previous race :sly:

I'm not trying to beat my PB at the moment, I'm grinding the x2010 on the clubman championship: b-spec, trying to get the Air of Experience trophy, and then Platinum :)

Omg.. I browsed through the first few pages with a smile on my face with my 3.12.xxx record but it slowly faded since CrackedTrigger started posting his records :D Im also grinding this race to get to lvl 40 and to collect 1000 cars so ill be doing this for about 4million xp still.. Im glad if i even get a time below 3.10 though but really appreciate the splits!

Edit: Im just baffled.. Tried different setups with and without the driving aids and tried to fiddle with abs but no way am i even getting 3.10 :S i got a few low 3.12 but i just cant figure where i could do better :I Quess ill be waiting for the video for tips but until then im gonna stay far away from that event..

Edit2: Yeah though i didnt try em with the gearsetup you had but now i did and my best was 3.12.029 so i got two tenths off :D And i liked the ballast better in the rear (no homo). I just cant figure how i can be about 2.5+ secs behind on the first checkpoint already even if i think i get it perfect with bumpings and all :S Or maybe i could understand it if i werent 9secs behind at the end.. And to think i thought beating the red bull challenges golds was hard :D

Edit: Well bumps or no bumps i still cant figure how youre leaving me at least 1s behind every sector :S And at least i didnt have to catch up 9 seconds in the red bull challenge :D Id be glad if i even got 2s off but just cant figure out where from.. ps. yeah "no homo"-jokes ftw :D

Edit: Okay ive grinded this race for the whole lvl 39 but still cant get my time below that damn cursed 3.12 so im just gonna wait for the video so i can see how im ****ing up :P

Thanks, you're doing what I did, lvl 40 and a 1000 cars, good luck, it still takes a while ever with the high payouts from this race. :)

Jocke85: I posted my setup on page 12 (I think?, on my iPod at the moment, pages are different), did you try my setup? Setups work differently for different people, you'll just have to keep trying and editing a tune until you hit what works for you ;)

Jocke85: I didn't bump or hit anything on my lap, so maybe you want to rethink what you're doing at that point. As for the redBull thing, that was way harder than this, of course I'm not trying to figure out what to do ....... no homo .... brilliant, made me laugh :D

Keep going, you can only improve, I was delighted when I started pulling 3:12.xxx laps, and with the RB challenge I was 1.5-2 seconds off by the time I actually started completing laps. Good luck anyway, I'm sure you'll find more time in this ;)

Now with SRF on I can do that 3'08 which I alredy managed with a lucky lap without.
But I haven't beaten that 188 seconds barrier yet :ouch:

Hey MadMax, would you be willing to post your split times, or even PM them to me, just for my own comparison, I know I can beat my time by another second or so, given my best sectors, but I'm grinding for the Platinum on B-spec at the moment :dunce:, so not gonna try that yet, maybe never. What I did with the gearing was , I made the first 3 gears and last gear longer.

You seem to know some shortcut :lol: thru sector one , rest of the lap our splits are more alike.

Hi, long time reader, first time poster. I did a 3:15.174 on my 3rd or 4th attempt, all chicanes cut in a fully tuned enzo on a DS3. The lap wasn't too extreme so I can probably get below 3:10 if I play a few hours and complete a perfect lap. Congratulations to those that are getting below 3:05 minutes because I have no ideas how you do that.

yea im with you, got a 3:14 using DFGT but I was at my limit. There maybe a second or 2 on a perfect lap but down to 3:05 no chance. Or maybe there's a corner to cut im missing. Pretty sure im cutting everything possible.

The start section over the sand and run off and threw the bridge.
Both chicanes and the end flat out over everything.
 
Did a 3:12.732 with a DS3, 3rd or 4th lap, hadn't used it in ages so, could come down, don't know tho, I'm not gonna try do that.

MadMax86: I couldn't tell you my best of the best sector times and what they add up to, I've only looked at my sector times for the 3 or 4 splitt times I posted, I deleted another set of splitts for a 3:04.0xx they had a few better ones, I think it comes into the high 3:02's. I might run a few more times to see what my best last few splitts are. You seem to have an advantage there, I could only think that it could be your tune if it is that much better, I've had a last splitt of 26.4, but when I'm beating my time, I tend to slow down towards the end, don't wanna mess up. In the second sector I'm loossing 3 tenths, this is because the 3rd place car is in the way of my corner entry and I can't get the perfect Line. This is my take on things anyway. I'd love to know who's tune your using, it seems faster in the twisty last sector ;)

Insane times guys.:crazy:
Wondering what the best times are with only driving aid being ABS1 and also best times with using a DS3.

Note I'm not a great driver and since I do a lot of tuning I have gotten in the habit of only using ABS1, also I'm stuck with a DS3 for now as I can't afford a wheel. Best time for me is a snail paced 3:25.150

Ha , just noticed I think I did this on sports hard with TCS on 1, because when I wnet back to the wheel, these were the settings, maybe i could take some time off it :lol:

OMG, I don't use the expression OMG, but OMG! MadMax 86, this is a great tune, I bought a new Enzo and with nearly 30 HP less I'm beating my sector times. This is good, different car altogether!

I'm having to relearn everything!
