Due to a change in posting rules here at GTP, I've combined the tuners and testers post into one. (10 second cumulative posting delay, this post was 20 seconds delayed, the next one was 30, the one after was 40 seconds and so on.)
Testers when you post your results could you please use the order found here in the tuners list, this will make my life so much easier when entering the data into the sheet. Thank you.

Steering sensitivity at +1 or +2, all aids off, except ABS 1 ( if not comfortable with ABS 0 ) with 3/2 brake balance as starting point.

Notes :

This is FITT Challenge - Viper Strike version with high camber, a bit added weight and NO OIL Change to fit with the regulations :D

I started building the replica recently, helping another member giving tips on tuning a replica. I got curious and build one myself. This particular replica is flat floor version with considerable more grip from front and rear downforce.

The Viper GT3R has ( unrestricted ) 680HP and 640 torque, while in GT6 I have a slightly higher torque at 649 ( closest I can get ) with NO Oil Change

For suspension, I tuned the car for easier turn in, while remain as stable as possible, springs are quite stiff at 16k/14k. ARB and damper setup to give the best possible mechanical grip from mid to exit and to work together with the added flat floor + rear diffuser. High Camber setup has been implemented for this FITT version.

LSD is 2 way as usual for cars fitted with racing tires, high preload to reduce the car handling changes during entry transition to mid corner, while high locking rate to make the most of the massive torque, some throttle control is required on low speed exit.

Gearing uses ratio from XTRAC 416 instead, as 427D ratio has too close 5th and 6th. The gearing is well suited for the car, giving good spread and good acceleration on all gears.

I tuned and tested at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP, Trial Mountain and Silverstone GP.

At Trial Mountain, it easily lap in low 1:26s range on SS tire.

Feel free to leave any feedback about the car :D

ENJOY

Put me down for testing

I shall test with this one as well.

What are the chances I would pick a car you had a tune pre loaded for
Looks like fun

Challenge sounds great. Not sure I have time to enter though. I might get to test though and maybe enter late if that works for the other entrants and testers.

Any restriction on power limiter? I mean, Vipers get to 1000HP right? What is to stop someone making a max HP build and power limiting back to 750HP and having 750HP flat over a large RPM range?

Also, is there going to be differences with people using different units, HP and BHP?

These are the numbers you would get adding all parts (+Flat Floor) then backing down the power limiter...

I haven't changed anything on the transmission as far as gears go, but good lord, that is a huge amount of torque. With the selection of Trial Mountain with its wide variety of turns and hills coming out of turns, I would imagine this torque monster would be incredibly hard to control. With no limits on Aero, Flat Floor, and Chassis Reinforcement, you might be able to tame it a little???:scared:

I thought about a power limiter but decided to give tuners as much freedom on the car as I could with some rules much more like the game gives. There is also some debate on torque or power, this car gives you the option for both huge torque min power, balanced approach or more power than torque. I've been curious about the flat does it really help? Or is it wasted code.

I`ve got to be in for this one!! Tuner and tester please.👍
Tuner and tester please :dopey:

I will get you two Added in the list in a few.
Looking forward to your tunes.

This is good timing, I just finished the 10 laps of Silverstone race so that should pay for this challenge :) Put me down for tuner on this one. Thanks

Added to the list

@Ridox2JZGTE, @brian wolf, @iainoflo85, @ImToLegitToQuit, @Bowtie-muscle, @Lionheart2113, @MrGrado, and @ @shaunm80 you have been added to the spreadsheet. double check to make sure I got you in the right spots and your names spelled correctly when you have a chance.

MrGrado you are marked as tentative, I hope you can test your feedback is always welcomed. :)

Is it safe to assume most will be using flat floor?
Good question guess we will know as the tunes roll in.

Are ya having issues keeping this guy stuck into the track as opposed to it skating around on the surface?:lol::lol:

Me too.....:boggled:
always :sly:

always :sly:
No more than expected:dopey:, was more curious to see if others will bite the bullet and try to tune without. Quick tune had some skating but not too bad, no flat floor. May try it both ways.

:mad::mad::mad:PS3 crashed and lost my tune that I did a 1:26.0xx with pffft :mad::mad::mad::mad:
Sorry for double post but, I guess you are using the flat floor, only spent 20-30 minutes and was in the 1.28.5 range. Slower keeps it glued and stops the skating.

I'm trying both ways with 6 days to tune and only one car have the time to test both set ups fully.

The car does wheelies at 150mph... how could I not sign up?
Sign me up as a tuner 👍
Done sir, yes yes it does :) I love but they kill your time on the track.
I just wish that PD would program in start wheelies that would be fun to do.
