The champions may be decided, but Formula 1 heads to Bahrain for the first of the last three races of the 2020 season in the Desert. Bahrain hosts the first of these races on the traditional Grand Prix layout at a circuit which has produced some of the best racing of the hybrid era of Formula 1. The switch to hosting the race under lights seems to have brought the track temperatures into a sweet spot which allows the abundance of straights to allow for some epic racing. The titles may be done, but there is still some incredibly close battles for 4th in the Driver's championship and 3rd in the Constructors. Plus, Albon and Perez seem to be driving for that second Red Bull seat, while Williams are still holding out for a point. This season is far from over as we head out for the BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX!

Big crash for Albon, almost an exact copy of his crash in China last year, with similar levels of massive damage.

Alex Albonk charges the wall, foot down, comes off 2nd best. Could be done for the weekend pending concussion.

How I wish Nissany was a test driver for any other F1 team but Williams, but that will never happen.

Also, who lost their dog at Yas Marina? Please go pick him up as he wants to play.

Albon's slowly but surely running out of space to put nails in his coffin...

Lol Albon. He can't possibly keep his seat now.

It's the only piece worth keeping after yesterday's performance

It would be a disgrace if Perez doesnt get it.

This is an interesting point in RBR's F1 strategy, obviously we know that RB-raised drivers are the only ones with a shot at the team's seats, but Perez's talent is obvious, as is the income he brings. However, there are three mercurial figures at RB who (imo) could strongly oppose hiring Perez. Max and Joss The Boss could get easily upset if Perez brings the fight to Max, while Helmut Marko might feel that it makes his carefully planned Junior programme look like ****.

Other than that Perez is a no-brainer :)

Are we still expecting rain?
Rain showers are likely across Bahrain this weekend, whether any hit during an F1 session is a lottery.

The FIA have caved again and stopped monitoring track limits completely this weekend after a few drivers moaned about it at Turn 4 yesterday.

What a waste of time.

It’s about time the FIA grew a pair and said you don’t make the rules to the drivers. The inconsistency in policing track limits is a joke.

Hmm. Hopefully we get some. I actually like Bahrain as a track but not as a race.

My avatar continues to be ever relevant.

Farce. What's the point in even having a track if it doesn't actually matter where the drivers put their cars?

Put. Grass. At. The. Edge. Of. The. Track.

Have as much concrete as you want after that. Bigly! Make it a jumbo Tesco-Asda-Lidl-Aldi mega car park. But for 🤬 sake have at least something that will lose the drivers time and grip for going off track.

Pole no. 98 for Hamilton. No doubt he'll have 100 by season's end. Albon has finally sorted his life out and qualified 4th.

True, Helmut needs to go away. He is not helping that team at all. .

Talent is talent is talent is talent. Hire the best driver and usually you get the best results.
