One third of the cars that will be in forza motorsport have been announced, and so far its lokking likke it might be a gt killer :scared:

    The Big Car List
Microsoft originally told us that there will be more than 150 cars in the game. The second time we spoke with them, the number changed to more than 200. Now Microsoft has told us that there will be a lot of vehicles in Forza Motorsport. What does that mean? With so many vehicle licenses, the company is experiencing a multitude of changes, with some cars dropping out and other cars replacing them. I suspect they'll want to have at least 150 cars in the game, which is way more than enough. But until they finalize the code, the amount of vehicles will differ, so they're right now avoiding an exact number.

As expected not one suprising car in "that" list.
Maybe the full list will have something I'd be dieing to try on a track.

Edit: did not notice the Mazda 3 first time round, YEAH! My car is in the game yeeha. and thats more suprising to me than seeing any Ferrari in the list.

Not doubting a car, but is that an "official list" or a list created by someone who thinks those cars will be in the game?

Forza will not be a GT4 killer. It will be the best racing game on the Xbox. and GT4 will be the best racing game on the PS2.

Nice list so far, they've yet to confirm the supercars in the game, but the Enzo ad Speed 12 have been confirmed so far in another IGN Forza article.

I keep hoping against hope that there will be actual McLaren roadcars in the game. Even if there is just an F1, and no LM or GTR, I would be happy.

That list isn't anything special. I find GT4's car slection more interesting to be honest. And if every other game on Xbox has Ferrari's and Porsches then why can't PD (yeah, yeah - money and licensing bla bla)?

I think you'd find that more copies of GT4 would sell simply because there are more PS2 owners than xbox owners.

Also, reputation is important, the GT name is well known, where as Forza isn't quite so well known to the casual gamer that doesn't necesarily visit gaming web sites or buys gaming magazines.

Other than the fact that more ps2's are out there sony would be shipping more games aswell

Forza's comeing out till next year so are you going to give up on this too? :boggled:

  24. I got tired of waiting for GT4 too so I broke my ps2 trying to mod it :scared: and bought an xbox with live. Personally I found GT3 too easy even without maxing out the cars I used, the races started to just take up time and I was only doing them so I could fool around with a new car on complex string and watch the replay. The deciding factor for me is gonna be the online experience. But even if GT4 somehow has better online, I still wont be buying a ps2 unless GTASA is so unbelievably great I force myself to buy a ps2 again.

Personally I find PGR2 way more entertaining than GT3 even in the single player aspect. I guess I'm not into the hardcore simulation anymore.

EDIT: GT4 wont be having any online capabilities so Forza wins. IGN

In terms of Supercars the Enzo, Carrera GT, F50, Koenigsegg and SLR are all apparently in.

That was just from me searching through all the previews and interviews at gamerankings.com
