That mate looks like it was a fantastic day 👍

What is the 3rd aftermarket FE and where can I find it? Thought there was only the Mx-5 and BRZ.

Edit - never mind, looked it up and it’s the RX3 at the Daikoku spot.
Can confirm.

I don't know what you all think about it but the weekly championships no longer being difficulty gated is a true boon for slowmo drivers like me.

May seem wimpy to some but I love to play between the Tourist, New Racer, Novice and when I feel up for a challenge, Average difficulties.

I tried this #33 Silvia. At least the front spoiler turned out to be good for clearing away sawn-off tree trunks in the Forest Cut-Through trailblazer.

It worked out pretty well as I was finally able to ★★★ that Hirosaki speed trap which is around a sharp bend, as I'd been unsuccessfully attempting this one in the RS200 Evolution over and over until the stars came out and I could see the (ahem, cough) moon over the castle.

Thanks for the suggestion as I hadn't even looked at the WTACs yet. For me, they and the other DLC form an effective counterpoint to those redditors who seem to think we players who bought the premium version spent up to twice the retail price simply for a few days' early access and nothing else.

I find them almost as puzzling as the people who want a toggle in the game to make all the trees unbreakable.Stupid question from me. Who is this guy and why does he turn up in my drivatar list?I apologise for the discourtesy but to me your post was a barely comprehensible wall of text, from which all I could glean is that you're somehow bored of the wealth of content in this game after less than a week based purely on a few minutes of story and the way the cars appear cosmetically. Personally, I've played far worse-looking games than this one and enjoyed the hell out of them.
I’m not great at comprehension also do we know what the rest of the 22 cars are of car pass yet say have the data guys looked through the field ?

It’s a glitch and will get fixed has a few up votes already and I’m trying to enjoy the game but I can’t get into it I’ll watch other people enjoy it

Could it be that you can complete challenges before they trigger in this game? If so, and if it's a bug, I hope they never fix it.
For anyone who's still on the fence about this, buying an AZ-1 from the Autoshow and parking it at Daikoku earned me this week's forty-fifth point and a nifty 30G acheivement.

As mentioned earlier, Tourist level certainly got me out of trouble at Nachi Run in the Street Fighter championship this week.

I was hoping they'd change this for FH6 and ol' Tourbillion didn't let us down. If anyone thinks it's wimpy they can always whack the difficulty up to Unbeatable, which we also couldn't do in the last game. Just took a while for me to figure out that you have to quit the event and set the general difficulty to what you want before restarting, as there's no start menu.

Im with you there mate.I struggled with the fixed highly skilled difficulty level in FH5 seasonals,I tend to do similair to what you do,I only hope they dont set the difficulty with the next series playlist. If it ends up being like it was in FH5 seasonal championships, fixed to highly skilled, then im in trouble.

I am going to enjoy that when FH6 comes to the PS5. I just don't compete in the weekly championship in FH5 because I am not highly skilled. Can you still choose your rival in 6? I do enjoy beating a slower driver's time to get my 4 pts from the playlist 🤣. TBH I play games to relax and not git upset which I tend to do at the higher levels so I just leave them alone.

Opposite for me, Highly Skilled is way too easy to me (especially in FH5) and I was very annoyed that it wasn't "or higher" in FH5 as it was in FH4. Fully locked to Highly Skilled. Playlist races were boring.

I'm glad everyone can play on the difficulty they like!

Now if only most people online would just turn theirs down instead of complaining about it being too hard...

Is there a trick to changing the lighting in your garages? Have finally put some effort into making a concrete 'underground' style garage but the lighting isn't fitting the vibe..

If you haven’t come across the final Trailblazer yet… enjoy.
If you mean the Horizon Kaido, I’ve done it. My first try was in the F-450 Toxic Masculinity, and it was a disaster. At one point I was wedged against a bridge abutment and a bunch of trees, but I couldn’t work up enough speed to break the trees. I was stuck there for a full minute before I could maneuver myself free. For my second attempt, I took the Beearzee Effee and just barely managed to two-star it. It’s highly entertaining, but it is a real challenge.

It makes me really happy that our community here (& most of the Forza community from what I've seen) are very much open and accepting of this.

I caught a post on another toilet bowl of a social media site where a gaming page bragged about beating everything in the game on Unbeatable 4-5 days, & then complained about how there's not enough to do. The guy was verifiably fast, but it such an asinine thing to see others agree with him... well, until someone said he could try getting a job if he doesn't have enough to do in the game, lol. But, it was quite sad to see someone unironically reveal to everyone that they clearly didn't take the time to actually enjoy the game. Even with the ability to fast travel for free & anywhere, this is a rare game for me where I've happily driven everywhere 95% of the time b/c the map is just gorgeous in every environment, & the roads are really fun to drive spiritedly on.

Yeah, I've beaten nearly every race there is to beat, albeit at a more reasonable difficulty level in Above Average, but I've just barely begun to find all the real goof-around potential in the game. Custom races are going to be a field day for me: I upgraded an '87 Skyline GTS-R to top of C class, tested out a 1 v 1 street race with Anything Goes car category, and found myself matched up against a Lancia Stratos that I beat the brakes off. And this is before I even started experimenting with route creation. My only big gripe here is that traffic seems way, way too sporadic for what I want to do, especially when I get to the point where I start running freeway battles, so hopefully that'll get patched somehow.

So, I'm trying to complete the Goliath (or the Colossus, whichever one is the boring one that uses the highway loop and requires a car that goes 3000mph, ugh) I noticed the AI is allowed to use the AMG One in low downforce, wings and flaps down trim, but we're stuck with the high downforce "track" trim. I manually changed the car to the low downforce setting before the race (fun fact, the thumbnail for the car actually changes and removes the rear wing, kinda neat) but it defaults back to the high downforce mode once the race menu loads in... I assume it's the same for the P1, Ford GT and GMA T50, but I haven't tried those yet.

I had to downgrade the AI competition to “Window Licker” to win it. And as others have pointed out, I’m glad we’re given the option. I have absolutely nothing to prove. If you can win it in “Unbeatable”, you have my respect. If you need to drop it to “Toddlers on Big Wheels” to win it, you also have my respect. Whatever you need to do to enjoy the game, do it. Unless it’s ruining other player’s games.

In other news, it was a bit of a chore, but I finally got all 200 bonus boards.

Oh, it's not necessarily about the AI's speed/rubberband behavior as I haven't really encountered it by any meaningful way so far (I was 8 seconds a lap faster than the AI around the Legend Circuit race on Highly Skilled difficulty just a few moments ago, not that it really matters as you say) but the fact they can cheat and use cars in a way we're not allowed to outside of free-roam is annoying.

Well put. This game has races, but it's not a race.

Also, they didn't throw away the funnest part of FH5 for me which was the driving.

I was hoping for a whole game with roads like Sierra Nueva and so far it seems like we've pretty much got it.

I like the starter set of cars (at least for Premium users), and felt it was well-curated enough to give you an effective set of tools to start tackling the environment they laid down.

The wristbands work for me so far as a set of "levels" to gradually wean me onto faster cars.

The only major things missing in my opinion, so far, are the ability to play previous series (this is gonna be rough once the honeymoon phase is over) and the killer feature of 3... custom on and offline championships.
