Free Race advice needed

I personally found that finishing Driving Revolution was better for getting cars, though getting all S's can be frustrating, and you need to do that to get the class R cars. Having to unlock the class R cars through random encounters won't be as bad as unlocking everything else, though, especially since the "car search" program at the official website can show you what you're missing.
In any case, you should end up with 211 cars total. If you have all of them, then you need to unlock all of the tracks, and all of the reversed versions of the tracks. There should be 40 tracks total in Free Race mode, iirc. Unlocking the reversed versions of the tracks works the same way as unlocking cars - 3 laps, default grid, no black flag. Good luck with the Nürburgring; it can get tiring.
