Certain FRL events use an enforced mandatory "pit delta" to make a pit stop a more realistic duration on Gran Turismo Sport. In the example video above a 20 second Pit Delta is observed, once the car enters the pit lane the player must wait 20 seconds before selecting any settings. The Pit Delta length is detailed on a race threads individual race information. Failiure to adhere to a pit delta can lead to a substantial time penalty post race, however this can be avoided by making a second stop the immediate lap afterwards - this is considered penalising yourself.

GT then LMP from 1915 GMT Race distance 2hrs Pace Lap first, 100mph all way round for this one.

Green Flag when leader crosses the Timing Line.

When exiting the pits please obey the blend line.

Fuel / tyres is 2x/1x.

30 second Pit Delta.

Ferrari BoP is now 100/100.

Finally, years of getting stuck in FWD touring cars has paid off.

I'm not looking forward to wrangling the dirty diesel around Interlagos.

About as good of a race as you can hope for at Monza. Appreciate the GT guys working with the prototypes. Only a couple whoopsies I think with interclass passing. Interlagos next right furi?

Alright. Interlagos 2 hours tonight with the Peugeot 908 / Aston Martin DBR9. One space available.

A few tweaks have been made:

~As originally intended, seperate LMP & GT championships. However, best 3 from 5 races will count, not 4 from 5 as it was originally set. Points based on class is easily abusable with people jumping to another class with less entries one week to boost there score against other drivers.

~Pit Delta shall be relaxed for cars pitting with damage. If you are making a stop for just damage repairs with no fuel/tyres being taken, then it only needs to be 15 seconds. 30 seconds is still required for a fuel and/or tyre stop.

~Pit delta + accidentally taking wrong tyres violations can be fixed by the driver pitting the next lap and taking a 10 second pit delta penalty plus how many seconds they had remaining. EG: Driver pits for fuel/tyres, and accidentally does 26 seconds (4 short), so next lap he can pit again and has a total pit delta penalty of 14 seconds to take. Being a penalty, no refuelling/tyres are permitted.

Pace speed tonight by the way is 75mph, single file until sector 3 when we all form up. Pole on left side. Last week's start procedure was incorrect but I didn't mention it at time, as the 100mph pace speed was too quick to begin with, but remember the field goes together.
