STEWARDING & RESULTS: BRANDS HATCH INDY

Glad to say Driving Standards have tidied up significantly into this weekend, 15 reports receiveed but as you'll see not much actually deemed noteworthy.

Please note that Strikes carry over through the season. Decisions can be appealed within 24 hours of posting through PM.

Pre-Event:
Furi successfully appealed his second strike from Spa, reducing his strike total from 2 to 1.

Also welcoming back Anathaema as well as finally seeing on track Luke & Rotary.

Qualifying:
No incidents.

Race 1:
Lap 20 Rolo/Corey - Amend finishing order (14 ROL, 15 BAR) to (14 COR, 15 ROL)

Warnings: Barry, Ghost (Driving Standards); Rolo (Spacial Awareness)

Race 2:
Lap 8 Furi/Nin/Connor - Strike Furi
Lap 25 Connor/Nin - Strike Nin

Warnings: Barry, Luke (Driving Standards)

Race 3:
No incidents.

Season Strike Count:
FUR 2, NIN 2, GHO 1, LIA 1, RRR 1.

OVERALL TABLE:
With the dropped score now in place for both drivers championships was always going to be tight. Nin's second strike and 2pt deduction drops him 1 place but also means he has 1% less weight into Autopolis. Mole has 1% still to carry over from post-Spa.

Cue a somewhat controversial topic but one that's been discussed.

As you can see, I am P13 in standings. However I am locking myself in for next round. The basic of this is "it's my series, I should be in", but if any further explanation is required - I'm not prepared to miss a round of the series I organise and host and run. If I was, we wouldn't have weeks postponed when I have been unavailable beforehand (I'd have just missed them.) Clear enough I hope.

This left two paths. DK was 12th I could either kick him out of P12 or say three Q spots for Autopolis. I believe the latter would be fairest - DK has earned his spot in the Top 12 and shouldn't be penalised for being better than me in the first two weekends of this season.

So there you go - three transfer spots for Autopolis weekend.

INDEPENDENTS CHAMPIONSHIP:
Kosmic to the front with an excellent 54 point pts haul. A strong debut weekend from Anathaema instantly puts him into joint-4th.

unknown.png

MANUFACTURER-TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP:
ECM leads as Lexar w/ExWife slightly gain on FAS.

BOP Update:
Toyota 1% power boost. New BoP 106-117%.

Current status for this weekend is 6 drivers going for 4 spots.
(Missing Rotary, Raptor this weekend and Fox has left.)

Great stuff at Autopolis last weekend but not without the odd incident.

It sure is nice to have some breathing room.

Raceday and a reminder to all non-UK drivers that our clocks in UK have changed and Q1 is from 1900 BST (just a touch under 5 hours from this post. 4 transfer spots.

Sorry I missed the Pre-Qualifier. Not only did the clocks change in Britain, they did in Australia too as we ended Daylight Savings Time. I missed the event by an hour thanks to the time converter I checked not registering this fact.

STEWARDING & RESULTS: BLUE MOON BAY

Race 1:
Lap 1 Furi/Ghost/Barry - STRIKE Ghost

Race 2:
Lap 1 DK - STRIKE DK

Race 3:
Lap 1 Yera/Roots - STRIKE Roots
Lap 13 Liam/Ghost - STRIKE Ghost

Warnings:
Barry, Ghost, Nin, Roots, Furi (Driving Standards). Furi 3x = STRIKE

Season Strike Count:
FUR 3 (+1), GHO 3 (+2), RRR 2 (+1), NIN 2, LIA 1, DK 1 (+1)

Overall:
Poor showings for a few drivers mean that BMB is a drop round for them, Ninners is starting to pull away but battle behind is still hot. (And yes Kosmic should be ahead on TB but it's an inconsequential detail at moment)
unknown.png

Independents:
Kosmic maintains a gap whilst an excellent weekend from GTPorsche puts him into contention for second. The championship has opened up a little more with Ninners going to a Manufacturer-Team and thus losing his eligibility.
unknown.png

Manufacturer-Teams:
As you were. Volkswagen out front, however a DNF for Hyundai has dropped them back slightly, although Yeratel was just classified as a finisher in Race 3 following a lengthy pit stop for repairs. 2 cars back out for Peugeot with Ninners joing them for rest of the season.

We roll up to Laguna Seca this weekend for the second american leg of the season. See you there!

Not even far off most the pack but still ran around at back, then got cleaned up off the track start of Race 3. Why I bother....

RBR next, and Rob is unavailable this weekend, but FAS have got a quite capable stand-in - making his ToCA return will be 16-time race winner @snowgt .

~ FUR: 1-race ban (suspended).

OVERALL STANDINGS:

So I know Roots is missing from last couple rounds and been replaced by Weathers (thanks for the racing!) - 4 Q spots for this weekend.

Also will post Independent and Teams standings tonight (hopefully), just done this as had a few minutes before preparing for work.

Happy to help out. Although my 3 14th placings certainly didn't set the world alight.

Still, 6th place finishing in Teams in all 3 races gave them 33 points... also you seemed much better than RBR weekend, pace looked better and your actual racing was better... 👍

Thanks. Maggiore Center seems to suit my driving style better than RBR normally. But I'm always looking to improve each time I go out.

7th place, Furi... Nin was scoring for his and Ghost's team

So here are what I believe are final overall tables, will post indy and teams tomorrow.

Congrats to @Ninners on bowing out with another title.
