Hello all. I am getting a G27 and was wondering what I should get as a stand. Now, my budget is about 5$, and I do have some wood sitting around and tabels that I should use for a stand. Is there anything else that I should knoe?*

*getting a g27 because DFGT was 150$, g27 was 40$ more. Doesn't pay to get a cheap(er) one when you can get top-o'-da'-line for 40$ more

Although the G27 is a very good wheel, it is hardly top of the line. That title would be better reserved for the Fanatec CSR Elite and the like.
As for your wheel stand question, when I first started out, I just used a TV tray to clamp my wheel to. I have also heard of people using old ironing boards or even small desks. If you have a carpeted floor, the pedals should be just fine sitting on the carpet. There are carpet grabbers on the bottom of the pedal base and they worked pretty good for me.

I'm currently looking at the G27 or the Thurstmaster T500-RS wheel , but with an extra £100 for the T500 over the G27 I'm not sure the difference in quality warrants such an excess on price.

For the price a G27 is one of the best bargains in my mind.👍

That being said. I really like my csr-elite and clubsport pedals.:)

I've seen some great reviews on those pedals actually , nothing comes close to them for the same kind of money?

If you have a computer desk, that would work fine! Any sort of table that's sturdy and not too high.
