maybe i should clear this up a little bit ones that are already posted ie turbos,  mufflers, etc.  parts i guess or does anybody need any?

Yes, I did have one for my old PS, but since I have sold my old system, I can't use the Gameshark anymore.

well for the ps2 to make hybrid cars you can pick up a gameshark lite  it works great thats what i did since the gs2 didnt work that great

Gameshark Lite works on the PS2?  How much does it cost?

well the gameshark website list it for 15.99 plus shipping but i picked one up at funcoland/babbages for like 25 bones the only bummer is that to add new codes to the list you have to have an empty memory card to save your code list on other than that it works great on all my ps games (a lot better than the ps2 shark archive disc)

Cool!  I'll look into it.  Do you know if it will support PS2 games?  I'm probably going to want one for GT3.

unfortunately the gs lite does not support ps2 games but like i said it works better than the archive disc for the ps2 shark for ex.  half the time id boot my ps2 with a game and the gameshark archive disc wouldnt even read  and more than half the codes in it were bogies

Well, I think I'm going to wait for the PS2's Gameshark, so I can get all the (if any) goodies for GT3.

well the gs2 is out for ps2 but it just doesnt seem to be working properly thats all i however did find out that gs2 ver 1.3 and down doesnt work on ps2 dvd driver version 1.30u  so needless to say here i go again trying to get the upgrade disc

I don't understand the discs...  How are they supposed to work when you can't write to their memory?

thanx drifta ill have to check them out if you want my hybrid code let me know its a 1089 hp 3000GT LM '99 that works well on anything but rally  i need someone else to race it to let me know what they think

Sounds good, it's weird, I just finished a 1090hp 3000gt VR-4 '99, It's got a huge V12 OHV (what ever that is) and it runs really nice, but it has that anoying UFO sound so I gotta change the engine It was a nice handler too.

What are these codes for, your 3000GT? I want to make the Trampio FTO  special model a faster car, but I can't find a suitable engine for it. When I test it, the car either flies into the air or the game freezes before I even get to the track.

I don't think I've driven the Trampio FTO, before.

yeah they are the codes for my 3000 GT but the name and body codes are not listed so program it in the shark as hybrid a or whatever as game name then buy whatever car you want or have whatever car you want to hybrid in garage slot 1  some cars dont work well on this code like the rx 7's for some reason they run just not that fast but try your fto itll be sweet!!!  top speed should be around 270mph or so

The Tampieo FTO is not a bad car, the reason I don't like it is because it's only got hp in the high 300's, low 400's (374hp I think)  and for me, that's just not enough. I love the paint schemes and the huge wing on the back along with the ground effects kit. But it's not bad for a Front wheel drive, I'm just gonna make it a rear wheel drive and give it around 4-500 more ponies under the hood.

That's almost what it looks like as a matter a fact. It looks like something from the fast and the furious. I was going to say check it out but didn't you say you don't have gt2 anymore, or something.......

No, I've got GT2, I just can't use my Gameshark anymore.

im sorry jordan the gs2 is like the gs cdx it has 2 discs and like a memory card (dongle) that it uses to read and encrypt the codes with drifta some of those codes are unknown but when i used the memory editor for that hybrid the numbers showed up so ill see about translating them for you
