Any of the RUFs are golden. I used the BTR and doubled the score needed for gold on my first try and I'm by no means a great drifter. I really had fun with this event, even spent an extra half hour trying running it after golding it just for fun. I believe I used a self-modded version of AngHell's regular race tune.

@et_ You can't use the bmw vision in this event, only in the racecar drift.
And both the merc GT3 are also racecars.
I tried the AMG VGT, the very first vision car. That one is allowed.

No apologies, just a little mistake that can be fixed.
We are all happy you create these threads.

I'm pretty average with drift events but this one is easy.
AMG VGT, race brakes (F 2 R 9) and custom LSD 10/15/10. 600 points, 9th run. done.

Just need good speed into sector 1, dab brake before corner, then hard brake for a second as you turn in, nail gas and hold lock. 2000+ points there if you get the line right, 1500 if you don't. Sector 2 - Keep speed around 150km/h, hit brake to turn in for the kink left, then switchback and dab the gas and control it - easy 2500 if you get the combo half right, more if you're a DK. Last sector won't matter, but its the easiest for a 1500+

There appears to be something wrong with my copy of GT6, this drift trial ends prematurely after the third sector instead of after the curves leading on to the start finish straight, which are just begging for a sideways snap through. Clearly this is an unintended error on PD's part as to exclude this sector from the challenge would be a crime against videogaming!

also, C63 507 ed. w/ C2 tyres FTW!

Wh00h00! 👍

12,065 on the second attempt, and I can also see the 14,000!

Pretty comfortable tune!

Great! Thank you mate.

Thanks @skyhighguy86 for the CL 600 tune, made a few small changes to the tune and managed to get about 10 000, that car can drift all day long.👍
@MOPARbarrett5, saw a couple of E55 AMGs including yours in the rankings. Gave it a go, worked out a tune for it and nailed about 11 400 after many attempts. It has more power but is a bit harder to control than the CL 600. Great fun drifting Mercs, especially big ones.:)

Here is a tune for the Opel Speedster Turbo that I used at the start of the event.

Opel Speedster Turbo '00
525pp 400bhp 913kg
CH CH
All power parts, weight reduction, oil change + wing and +2 bigger wheels.

70/90
7.11/9.37
4/4
5/5
5/5
9.0/9.0
0.00/0.20
B/B: 5/5

Trans: Reset to default, final gear to 3.000, Max speed to 180km/h
1- 4.679
2- 3.313
3- 2.599
4- 2.123
5- 1.822
Final gear to 2.700

LSD: 60/60/10
Downforce: 20
Ballast: 74 Position: -50
DS3 ABS: 1

Might help someone somewhere for gold, 8000 points or more is possible. Have only been drifting for a couple of months and I am even newer to drift tuning therefore it is a very basic tune. Any improvements are welcome.
Still learning, so much of info is available on this site. Thanks :gtpflag:. Feels like I have been living under a rock previously:lol:

@skyhighguy86 : Thanks for the setup, I'd be lost without you m8:cheers:

Also, I'm stuck at 12k, I just cant find the correct lines, and you cant look at the replays, so they're no help either:irked:
