Okay today I officially bought my 1967 Ferrari 330 P4 off the dealership ((I know there is the Birthday cheat but I wanted to earn it the right way)) and I figured to show it off right? Well I joined a few trading/car show servers and all of them treated me like crap. Then I get the boot because of the car. I mean is that what I get for earning the car the right way?

Has this happen to you before?

I feel your pain, but honestly, no one will ever believe you earned a car that was so easily exploited. P4's, Mark IV's, etc...are always going to be "bday cars" from now on. I feel sorry for you if you didn't back up your save before buying it as that would be a tragic waste of 20 million, lol. Props to you for doing it legit though 👍

Well that depends on the servers... This is probably what happened:

A) the connection was poor
B) the host/others were immature/kids/lame (lmao)
C) you didn't adhere to the server description/rules (ie; car type, up, region, etc.)
D) Jesus didn't want you on there, so instead of killing a random kitten, he booted you

Other than that^, I really couldn't tell ya dude..? Lol, ps it's a phenomenal car though!!! :)

Bought it legit as well. I intend to own every car, and each one of them are going to be legit, and I wanted the penniless trophy and I hit 20 mill before I hit 40, so my pink X1 had to wait a bit.

Hmm, not sure what to make of this, all the exploiters seemed pretty sure their actions had no effect on anyone else (I probably need to point out the heavy sarcasm, it doesn't come across well on the internet)...

I guess all you can do is take pride in knowing you bought it fair and square, as I will when I've earned the 40,000,000 for the two classic Le Mans cars you can't win.

Same thing happened when I took my X1 online. The room had no restrictions. I took my Saleen S7 in because I was really wanted to see if they fixed the issues from GT4. Sadly they did not, and I didn't want to drive the car. So I decided to take the X1 to max speed (it was SS7). As soon as I was spotted, I was accused of

A. Cheating
B. Being a bad driver

Some other guy in an X1 actually showed up, and we decided to drag race. As soon as we lined up, over the mic came

"How can they think it's fun to drag race it?"

This went on and on. I even told them to check my trophies. The reply?

"You think that actually matters?"

Duh, they are so obsessed with "cheating", how could it not matter? I personally dislike throphies, but they almost came in handy once.

Anyway, the guys with mics ended up leaving the room because I had "ruined" it. lol

I was on a free run on the TGTT and decided to see how hard I could push the X1 and before I know it, some idiot starts a race. So there were 3 X1s at the front of the pack, I got rammed outta the way and some idiot cut every corner and won. Next thing I know the CHEATER sends a message to the host (who had almost exactly the same name as the idiot who wanted to kick me) saying to kick me. So he did.

At the end of the day, its just a game man :)
Everywhere you go, there are these punk@ss kids online pulling this kind of crap. So don't feel bad, or feel discouraged 👍

Lol, you must haven't ever played a FSP on a console, online before, have you??? Hahahaha, 9/10 times you see crap like that.. So no biggie man! :) Just keep on, keepin' on! :D

The kickers tend to be the jealous ones. I've been kicked for using my Escudo to beat annoying little kids who think they're cool in their poorly tuned Veyrons. I've also been called a cheater for beating other r35 spec-v's with my own v-spec and been kicked. I think the only legitimate reason for a kick is disruptive behavior, like sitting sideways on the track in a tank car or driving backwards through the tunnel and ramming everyone lined up to drag. Car choice shouldn't be an issue, if you dont like it, limit the room imo.

All i can say to that is 'RESULT' :)

I admit i didn't earn my P4 or my X2010's. However people don't seem to object to that. They seem to object because they don't have these cars or don't know how to get them.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
:dopey:

Where's the Staples 'That Was Easy' button, when ya need one?? Lmao

I never really have a problem in servers except the ones with HONDA/ACURA ONLY. They are full of the ricer noobs and their civics. When I see one I pull out my pink Honda Odyssey and own them. Other then that its usually Geyron/Tank car noobs that join servers to try and mess everything up. Sometimes you get a host that pays attention and kicks them.

You can avoid this by joining servers that aren't full of noobs. Just look for one that have restrictions, have a meaningful title, or only have a few players in 👍

I hate the guys who set up the restrictions to perfectly match the car they're using. One guy had a room that was blatantly set up so he could keep creaming people in his M5 on the Nordschleife, so when I beat him in my 200hp bright yellow Caterham, he first tried to knock me off the track (which went horribly wrong for him) and then kicked me out of the lobby as soon as the race was over

My Caterham :)

Perhapse this is a foolish question but, how exactly can you cheat at a racing game? I see it all the time in shooters for the PC with "Aimbots" or "Wallhacks" but I've never seen a racing cheat in action (other than the birthday and back-up glitches which I choose not to participate in).

^Cheaters... IE; being douchebags while driving, such as driving like a tard, etc.
Some call it 'cheating', others just choose to ignore it as douchebaggery ;)

Oh ok, thanks for clearing that up, I thought it was like an actual physical cheat program they were running or something and I was going to be very concerned about joining any leagues if people were doing that. Glad to hear it's just bad driving instead.

Yeah, definitely just bad drivers/kids stepping away from their usual Forza/NFS bull**** :)

No need to worry. YET. hahaha 👍
