Golf R fix petition please read first post

Actually, they have the same exact power (at least mine do). The Scirocco is faster because it's lighter (no heavy AWD hardware).
 
This is gotta be a joke... The specs of the car are right, there is no fix needed.
 
the golf r is meant to be faster than the scirocco r in real life. I tested them in gt5 and the golf is about 2 seconds slower on TGTT.

This is a petition to have the Golf R DLC fixed for GT5.

By posting in this thread you are contributing to the petition signatures. If you don't want to or are against this idea you shouldn't post.

Heres the problem, in Australia, South Africa and Japan, the Golf R is available detuned for the warmer climate.

Normally it has 199KW/267BHP and 350NM, but the detuned one has 188KW/252BHP and 320NM. Since Japan is where PD is located, they appear to have chosen the local/detuned version for release in the latest DLC pack.

Please post so we can try to change this in the next update or ASAP.

EDIT: the specs are EXACTLY how the detuned car is, this has NOTHING to do with oil or engine break in

Conza, with respect mate, you're in Australia and you have a car that has the Australian specification. Where's the problem? To me, that makes it 100% accurate 👍

As in real life, if you bought the car and wanted more power or to match another country's spec, take it to the tuning shop and drop some credits, as others have suggested.
