Well finally got it. It is a 1995 BMW 525i in kashmirbeige metalic.

It has a small oil leak after warming it up, it has to be either the valve cover seal or the ol pan. has 2XXK miles on it and still cruises ike a dream at 90mph. M favorite part is i you gun it in a certain RPM range it makes a "turbo spool" type of noise(must be the belts). Bought it fo 1G from one ofmy moms friends who had it so he didnt use up miles in his leased cars.

lol

Mine still owns yours..

Mines, We are already looking at some mods for it. Its old enough to not need emisions so Im going catless, maybe a 50-75 shot of nitrous.
But at the same time Id preffer a circuit car more than a drag queen.

hows a BMW for a first car harsh? Thats awesome! It beats my first car!

He's saying compared to his parents much newer model, by at least a decade(or right at), it's harsh. not that a BMW as a first car is.

Meh, I'd prefer the old-school BMW to a brand-new one.

Srsly.

BTW: I'm LOVING the three-piece wheels!

AMEN Brother! This has to be the last real BMW, I mean the hood opens forwards, rock solid chasis, smooth ride, quiet and still will (for its power) haul the snail.

And when we remmoved the wheels to clean them (we are very anal detailers) we noticed those are REAL BBS's, they look wierd but they are real.

Just about every new BMW still has that attribute, so what besides the hood opening forward makes it any realer?

Nice car! Get that side molding fixed and the oil leak fixed and it'll be good to go! Looks great. Congrats :)

Cuase, if you're a drug dealer you fit a hydraulic ram and *BAM* bullet proof windshield/Human plow.

Prolly just valvetrain or induction whine. I know my uncle's Mustang Mach 1 does it above 6000rpm. Just a little wheeeEEEEEE.

But yeah, just don't be a BMW driver XD!

To recap, BMW drivers:

- Are pricks.
- Have zero knowledge of cars.
- Bought the car for the badges more than anything
- Will let it kill itself and just figure they'll just get another when it dies.

Sooo, just do the opposite of the above and you will be good!

You really are clueless if you think that . I know several people who own BMW's and are nothing like that, even some people on these boards, some are even moderators.

in the majority of cases it holds very true
all the worst wreckless, ignorant drivers i have seen were in a bmw
although i have noticed some audi and jag drivers trying to claim the title recently

More d-bags drive Audis these days the BMWs, I think that's the general consensus. The thing with BMWs, however, is that the older the BMW, the cooler the driver usually is. Or, at least that's how it is in West Michigan...

You do not know this for a fact, because I'm 120% sure, you have not met nor seen the majority of BMW drivers.

Sounds more like a Boxster/Cayenne owner to me.

YSSMAN

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who had that thought pop up.

To say one or the other is complete rubbish. There are idiots in all types of different cars, perhaps we just take more notice when its a flash car?

Did a poll about this on the other forum after clarksons comments and people still say BMW drivers are the kings of the "cocks".

Its all in jest though.

Anyway enjoy the car, im sure you will love it, and most likely you will now have the BMW bug in your system for the rest of your life.

I dunno. Porsche attracts an awful lot of them these days.

Oddly enough, based on my incredibly scientific research (how many results the word "douche" and a certain brand brought up in Google), Ford attracts the most...undesirables, out of any brand I could think of offhand.

More specifically, the Ford Mustang. Douche-magnet #1 one right there...

Were I live BMW, Porsche and mercs have the most respectfull drivers if they are of age (Theres TONS of kids my age here with BMWs more expensive than either one of my parents). Audi and Infinity drivers do 60 inside the neighborhood with kids playing on the street. Personally I drive unbelievably slow and safe, unless I get caught out like when I did 90 and my dad understands that he raised me to like cars and we have a mutual agreement that if I want to race it just tell him and we'll both go to the track and have a blast.

Are you trying to say something about me.....

.......:)

Simple fact - idiots drive all manner of cars.

Scaff (the no-nothing, badge-whore prick who is slowly letting his car die)

BTW - All in jest

Generalise much?

Personally, I have a best mate with a BMW. He isn't a prick, he knows a hell of a lot about cars (as with myself he's been buying car magazines since he was about eight, his dad's a mechanic and this BMW is his third car), he bought it after trying a number of other cars (Audi A4, Merc C-class etc), and he looks after it very, very well indeed. When he does get another, it'll be an M3 and his current one certainly won't be dead.

There's something about a modified BMW 3-Series with bright Candy paint, shiny rims and an exhaust that seems so tardy rich boy/wog I couldn't help but laugh when I seen it (it's practically ricing anyway), especially when only moments before I had seen a previous generation M3 with nothing but engine mods which made this particular riced one look even more pathetic.:p

To be fair, any car in bright candy paint with shiny rims and a stupid exhaust is pretty retarded.

Unless it's a hotrod :sly:
