There's no message saying that the retexture mod is active, only the HD UI does this
The best way to know if that worked is to check the sky imo on some tracks, the difference is huge

If you're on PCSX2 you can set a hotkey to toggle texture replacements on and off, if you set that and go into a race and try toggling it on and off, you should see a difference.

On PC i have this working flawlessly incl HD HUD pack. But on NetherSX2 on Ayn Thor (Android), some textures dont load right, like the far left of the main menu map background are still blurry and in game HUD the lap timer is still pixelated. Any ideas?

Hey. ive just downloaded these texture packs for gt4 spec 2 US online beta version. running it on steam deck oled PCSX2. So far it's running great frame data, but the sky looks weird with lines and worse than default. The track videos are frozen when in Arcade Mode track selection. Also, the menus look really grainy compared to default when toggling textures.

I should add that I’m running Spec 2 as well. What resource is the best settings for this particular setup?

Try setting Dithering to 32-bit in PCSX2's graphics settings
