Gran Turismo 6 Career Races List

You guys might find this hard to believe but you can win every S class event on Racing Hards tyres even if it's raining like hell. For example: on the 24 minutes of Nurburgring, I used the BMW Z4 GT3 and I didn't pitted at all on all 3 laps but I reached the finish line nearly out of fuel.
Same with the Audi R18 TDI '11 Team Joest. RH no pit stops!!

I think this might the interesting question, what is the best non-super car (Fully tuned) that suits the below races:

-- Spa-Francorchamps 24-Minute Challenge

-- 24 Minutes of Le Mans

Your answers are highly appreciated!

Regards,
Audi
Can anyone tell me what a good car would be for the Willow Springs 20 mile challenge and the Ascari 10 lap challenge. Thanks
ZZ11

Yeah you will need to pit. For both tyres and fuel. A full tank will not last a whole race as the tyre wear and petrol degradation is set to very fast for all those races i listed. Also they have variable weather.

Actually, I'm using the Light Car Co - Rocket '07 for all the races. You don't need to pit because of the low weight and low fuel consumption. I've got the car maxed over 650pp, so I tune the power down. I've completed to Brands and haven't pitted yet. I'm also using Race Medium tyre compound. I find the car slips too much with the hards. Since the mediums have good wear, no need to pit for tyres either. In some of the races, you will get a full rain cycle, but the track doesn't get over 20% wet, so I don't change to wet tyres.

I'm in the same boat, sort of. My first attempt at the championship I finished 4th despite winning the 1st race, then I golded the other 2 individually but struggled. Have now changed my controller sensitivity down to 4 and that seems to help a lot, not as much oversteer now.

Don't know if you've got them yet, but here's what I did...

Brands - Max Speed - 118, Willow - Max Speed - 118, GT - Max Speed - 81 (I tested lots of variations). I found it helped to write them down, so when I got to the championship, i knew exactly what to do.

Then practice, practice, practice. Run the tracks until you can gold them. I ran the tracks for about 30 minutes every day until i could beat them. Don't worry about winning every time. Concentrate on connecting the corners. Learn the skills. If you put in the time, it will pay dividends on all other cars.

Aggression at the first lap, first corner normally gets me 4-6 karts. Then be very smooth. The karts don't like hard turning, hard throttle, or late braking. You'll spin every time. Learn to calm yourself down after a bad corner. If you get worked up, by the time you get to GT, you will be too frustrated to be smooth.

On the GT track, you should be able to pass on the first and third corner fairly easily, as well as approaching the straight. Go slow (30-35 mph) on the long left and right handers. Once you get the hang of it, GT is all about smooth, connected turns.

Good Luck!!!

Umm...did them ages ago.

Lol im suprised this isn't being updated yet but it got stickied. What car should I use for night masters in national A?
The OP just got bored of the game and didn't finish it.. for the nignt masters just use the clio RS(price car)..

Would be really nice if a mod gather all the data posted in this thread, and with that update the OP.
Either that or un-pin this thread and someone else make a new one with all the information, so it can be pinned.

May I suggest a format change?

Example-
Novice
Event name
Track Title
PP Limit/Tire Limit/other restrictions

Sorry, this is one of the very few things when OCD takes over.
You dont have ocd, you have pain in the behund

Pretty sure the 20 mile race at Willow Spring is trolling me. Im running the Pagani Huayra '13. Front tires are Sports hard and back tires are sports medium. Each time I pit after my forth lap, the race is eight laps, and always pass for first the 7th and yet my back left tire completely craps out the last few corners causing me to spin and get dumped down to at least 5th place or worse.

Seriously, I can make it fine the first four laps on the tires I use, then pit, and yet cant make the final four laps on the same tire setup because of that one tire.. I did that race 4 times last night with the same results each time.

A fully tuned Viper '13 only needs one pitstop on soft tires on lap 4. I won the race by a huge margin with it and lapped about 4 cars.

Use the LCC Rocket. You don't need to pit.

Finished the last Rainmasters race with a Corvette Stingray '14. Hated all three of those rainmaster races even though the first two were easy for me to win. Might as well have been driving ice blocks.

I hate having to spend time going back and forth through GT6's menus trying to find races for the cars I like, so I made this:

http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=45725273432311964186

It's a 2-page printable .pdf file that lists all the events in GT6. Regular races only, no stuff such as licenses, Goodwood, or missions.
I listed the races, restrictions, and 1st place payouts. Restrictions include specific stuff such as country, drivetrain, year, etc, as well as PP restriction, approximate PP of fastest AI car in parenthesis, and tire restriction.

I numbered the events for easy reference. At the end I list races by AI car type, PP restriction, and approximate AI PP.
(r) next to the event number means there's restrictions other than PP and tires.
(o) next to the event number means it's a one-make race.
(a) next to the event number means there's AI cars above the PP limit.

In that way I can pick any car I like and find races where I'll be racing against AI cars of similar performance level in a few seconds without having to waste time going back and forth through menus.

I've just realised that throuhghout my races in gt6 career mode I don't think I ever did a Moncao race I'm suprised unless I'm wrong i haven't played career mode for ages after I got platinum. I feel like I need to go back and set some lap times there

There are 2 career races at Monaco, one at Festival Italia and another at Historic Racing Car Cup.
You can find the full list of races in the link I posted in my previous post.

Thanks I will go check them out. I must have skipped them in my career. Going to try make the race as even as possible.

Back on-topic, I have been updating my personal Career List with the new content and will be uploading it by the end of the week. It has an easier structure to navigate through

Super Class,
Ascari 10 lap : I used the Honda NSX R '02. Did pit, but won fairly ok.

Silverstone 10 lap: tried different cars but went for the LCC Rocket and won probably due to not pitting.

Regarding the Historic Legendary car, I used the challenger RaceCar. Thats the most affordable car to do these races I discover. The only thing u must not forget, is to change the speed box. I put it to 290 Km/H witch is +- 175 MPH, and I won all of the race, just try to skip the races until you don't have the Toyota 7 in top of the race line.

Regarding the challenger racecar, upgrade it completely. the car itself worth about 180,000 and the upgrades are about 70,000-90,000
