Having a quick scroll through GT Sport 1.47 memory and I spotted these so far:

Added after GT Sport 1.14:
- trialmoutain
- highspeedring
- road_atlanta
- grandvalley
- capering
- midfield
- eiger_short
- grandcanyon

I think that's about it for tracks with a label, there's a bunch of "test_*person's name*" tracks in there.

I think that all of these tracks are a kind of testing in GT Sport before they "transport" them in GT7...

I've been playing the Circuito de la Sierra time trial rally on GT6 all this morning and I must say that it 'd be great to see that track back in GT 7.

That precise road circuit reworked making it looking and feeling more "real".

and that kind of time rally challenge applied on long tracks like the Nordschleife for vintage cars would be great

I may sound insisting with the "Circuito de la Sierra" but I think this track and more specifically the vastness of that location can be the start of a deeply hoped open world in Gran Turismo 7.

If around the main circuit was developed a road network ....

I may create a new thread for GT7 about this later in the week (with screenshots and vidéo)

I think we'll see the Mazda CX-5. Plus, some other SUVs. I remember we got the CX-7 concept. Probably a CX-5 diesel 2015 model or the CX-4.
Add a Subaru Forester turbo, maybe a Macan, Audi Q5 and 6M.

Don't know if PD would add Jeep or if Jeep have contacted PD. Guess it would be a first, if a Cherokee SRT-8 was in the game.

We've had this, but maybe we'll get an updated version in the new IS. I'd guess a 2018 model. Probably a Gr.4 addition to the RC F(which, ironically, the RC F mimics the CCS-R, right down to the livery).

A real one on the road. Just sharing another thought about PD adding SUVs in the game.

The Land Rover Stormbreaker concept thing, Mazda CX Cross, a return of the Forester turbo, VW+Audi+Porsche+Bentley SUVs, BMW, Maserati and all other brand Sport SUVs.

They're so popular today, I feel PD can't ignore them.

Ah, I see. I think they could add a couple more trucks, too, to compliment the Tundra TRD Pro and F-150 SVT Raptor. Specifically, I'd add the Dodge Ram Rebel, and the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. Maybe even the Nismo Titan, as well. As for SUVs/CUVs, here's my list:

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio
Aston Martin DBX
Audi RS Q3
Bentley Bentayga
BMW X5M
Ferrari Purosangue (Though I'd doubt this would be in GT7, given how it's barely a concept at this point.)
Ford Bronco (2020, though I also don't think this would be too likely given how new it is.)
Lamborghini Urus
Land Rover Defender (At least one of the more recent ones, before they moved onto the most recent generation.)
Maserati Levante
Mazda MX-30
Mercedes-Benz GLC 63 AMG
Porsche Macan Turbo S

Let me know if I forgot any interesting SUVs/CUVs here, or if you think one should be substituted. I'd also love some minivans, especially something like the Mugen Odyssey, or a Sienna tuned by TRD/GR. The Renault Espace F1 goes without saying, of course.

EDIT: I think we're also at the point where trucks/SUVs/CUVs are here to stay in GT, between the various trucks/SUVs in GT4, and the addition of the Range Rover Evoque in GT6. I'm glad to see this trend of including heavier vehicles continue with the SVT Raptor and Tundra TRD Pro in GT Sport, but I'm hoping even more heavy vehicles could come in GT7, including potential online regulations for such vehicles. For example, in GTS, the SVT Raptor and Tundra TRD Pro simply cannot compete in a race that uses N400 - the class these two trucks are in - but I think it could be a lot of fun if there specifically was a way to have an N400 event that only permits these two pickups, much like how we recently had a Gr.1 Daily Race that only permitted the Group C cars. That's what I think we need to see more of in GTS and GT7's online mode, and/or a way to set those regulations within lobbies, as I think a lot of complaints about the current class system would subside if we had more events like that.

I, for one, believe the current class system is entirely fine, although I think we could use at least two new groups: one for vintage prototypes such as the Ferrari 330 P4, and one for vintage grand tourers like the Shelby Daytona Coupe. Perhaps a Gr.1V and Gr.3V would work. I would also potentially add a Gr.C for pre-Group B rally cars, such as the Lancia Stratos, as well as a potential Gr.A for more modern-style rally cars. I am otherwise fine with formula-style cars in Gr.X, as well as more radical cars like the Honda 2&4 Concept, and the various VGTs. I could also see NASCAR vehicles going to Gr.X, unless they add enough stock cars (e.g. one per manufacturer from each season represented in the PS3-era games, so that's a total of nine cars between Chevrolet/Toyota/Ford and the 2010/2011/2013 seasons) that they would also differ enough to warrant a class specifically for NASCAR vehicles. I might also add an "NE-Series" for electric cars, but I digress.

Either way, I'd say I'm especially looking forward to the machines that seem relatively out-of-left-field, the ones that make me go, "WTF?" out loud. I genuinely love that sensation of learning something new, and I hope GT7 continues to introduce me to new people, cars, and locales.

My future car predictions that it may able to make it to debut in this installment:
  • Toyota GR Supra GT500
  • Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO
  • Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO
  • 2019 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3

I think we need more Porsche Gr. 3’s, such as their much newer 911 RSR, for its Gr. 3 GTE offering, and the latest 911 GT3 R, while still keeping the old 911 RSR. The 911 GT3 R is barely even seen in other racing games besides Assetto Corsa and the Project CARS series.

Sorted by Votes(Likes), these are the top 20 that are "Confirmed" in GT Sport.

It's interesting the varied display of cars we received.
We have a few hyper cars in the P1, Veneno and LaFerrari. Supercars with the F50 and CTR3. High performance cars: AMG GT S, Huracan, F-Type. A couple sports coupes and sedans: RC F, WRX, Supra, E30, 22B and 4C. Add the two classic cars: Pantera and Mini Cooper S. Newest being the P1 GT-R '16. Oldest is the Mini Cooper S '65.
That gives a good variety of non-race cars.

The TS030, Vantage GT3, 650S GT3, weren't that old before GT Sport was teased. Cap it off with the 300 SEL for some nostalgic touring car racing. Plenty of cars for any one player to enjoy driving in that game.

Here's hoping Gran Turismo 7 will continue to have such a diverse car list, as past games. Keep posting in the Suggestion Forum. 👍

I think the #8 is more iconic, as it was the number used on every TS050 Hybrid that won Le Mans.
Then, add that to the list as an alternate livery.

As for the Supra GT4, it's proven a race winner(GT4 European Series at Spa) and strong package in its debut year. I wouldn't doubt seeing it before GT7.

All of 2016 LMP1s in GTS already allows you to choose which number, btw.

As in, when you buy the '16 TS050, you could select either #5 or #6.
I know this. The post above was mentioning an opinion and reasoning, that the #8 is more iconic than the #7. I'm just saying add that as an alternative livery. Pretty much like the #5 & #6( in my initial post).

I wonder what cars from previous games - especially premium cars - would I not want to see returning? I'd say that's a pretty tough question, haha! But I think in most cases, the answer to that question would be cars that were concepts at the time, but now have production-spec versions, like the Nissan GT-R Proto, or how the Supra A90 Gr.4 isn't really the GT4 car - the latter is almost more like a normal A90 that's been given a bodykit from GT Auto, like one would in GT6. I also would not mind the FT-86 staying behind, though I'd say the FT-1 can stay since it still differs quite a bit from the A90. For example, the FT-1 has a CVT, and that's before we get into the fact that the FT-1 provides context for the FT-1 VGT.

I also would not mind if the Toyota S-FR Racing Concept was removed, but if was given a cockpit, I might not mind it returning as much. In fact, I hope every car that lacks a cockpit in GTS is given one in GT7, especially the VGTs. I think Kaz even mentioned the latter at one point.
