So far there is only 3 new swaps.

I assume there is more that we haven't discovered yet.

Right ?
About 24 hours in, I would say thats it. As many dedicated members as we have this far along in the games life, we find out much quicker!

GT planet members are up with coffee waiting for the update in every time zone!

Just shows we cant get used to any "cycle" of their releases of the-
"engines/parts/cars/tracks"

They really got us last time with no new engines.. seems they're loosing the (!!!) Factor-

Edit: scroll down and see the newest gt nsx engine released fits 92/02 nsx, brz drift car, and the s2000(!)

A first for 3 different chassis types discovered after initial update

As you'll be aware by now, GT7 has engine swaps! Yay! 🎉

The mechanism seems to entirely luck-based, so in these early stages we don't know what engines are available and what cars they fit in. I've created this thread so that the cloud-computing-mind of GTPlanet can do what it does best: assemble a complete list.

Here's all the ones we know so far (with the Porsche M96/76 only seen in trailers and not the game thus far). Please add any others you find in the comments below - note the original brand, the name of the engine, and any eligible cars - with some picture evidence, please!

Incidentally, don't do any of this to get infinite engines:

Because it doesn't work as of v1.18

Number of exclamation marks in parentheses denotes my comparative level of "what the actual" ness

New swap for Honda: Engine from NSX Concept GT ‘16 (GT500 Racecar) can be swapped into the NSX Type R ‘92 and NSX Type R ‘20.

Shame there's nothing for the Sierra. Max power is only 422BHP when the real cars have seen 680BHP at 24psi. Hopefully next update.
Have you noticed that the sierra doesn't steer properly???? Like, to tune the wheel full lock, and it take AGES before it actually does anything....I don't understand why it's doing it, and it's the ONLY car doing it .....

Just ran WTC 700 with swapped silvia touring car.
824bhp with IM tyres.
Fm6 will do 3 laps.
Fm1 gives you 2.
Got lucky with heavy rain in this race and only needed 1 pit stop.

Nice one!!! To be fair, I didn't max mine out as I thought I wouldn't be able to bring it back down to 700pp again.....but seeing that you can, has made my decision on maxing it out!!! That must be a fu lol tourer lol.....it will decimate all....easy credits...

Man the turbo kick at 6k rpm making the car dangerous to drive

IM tyres brings pp by around 30 compared to RH.
They will wear out quicker but you can have way more power.
If you are lucky and it rains early you gain a lot of time just flying by the pit stop while others struggle on RH or pit in for a tyres change.

WTC 700 la Sarthe is my daily grind 😉.

Why are some getting these epic engines... And i got another coyote engine again...
Never won any of the new engines only have the original set from the glitch way back.
Really hoped for a new shop where they would sell the engines.
Its getting absurdly frustrating.
I'm not sure why it's handed out so much in game. In real life, the Coyote is an absolute beast for a truck.
I also don't understand why it can't be swapped into the Raptor in game or anything that runs an EcoBoost V6.
I keep getting LT-1 and LT-5 engines… frustrating when there tons of engines out there!
I keep getting 26B's. Hello, like, there's only so many Mazdas on the planet...

Shout out to KCR_Uahoo for finding these ones
HR-414E in Amuse S2000 GT1 and BRZ drift car

What we need is an addition to the Tuning Shop for the more exotic parts and engine swaps.

But to ensure people don’t just machine gun their entire bank accounts on it instantly, add a cooldown like they have with selling used cars.

Level 5 weight reduction? 1 hour cooldown before you can buy it again.

Ultra high Turbo or High RPM S Supercharger? 1 hour cooldown.

Engine swap of your choosing? 24hr cooldown.

Titanium Piston & Rods, Camshaft S, Bore/Stroke Up S? 30 min cooldown.

Just a rough idea really. :D

Nah, there's no reason to restrict this stuff. Just let us jackhammer that X button in the tuning shop and get our 1000 HP Supras and Skylines.

I drove a 2006 Ford Super Duty for a bit. The 6.0 diesel has a turbo kick at 2,200 RPM's. It took me by surprise the first time I felt it. This was an ambulance, too, and those things are heavy, yet the kick is still very noticeable.
Our other ambulance was an 04 E-350 with the 7.3 liter turbo diesel. Acceleration was slow but you could've pulled the hospital down with it. There was no turbo kick.
