So out of the invitation cars, are there any that we should buy before they're gone? Mainly looking for cars that would help out in races.

Why do you want it fixed? Its a quick money maker so why would you want it taken away?
Because it's silly. I know GT gets knocked (rightfully so) for poor AI, but this is not a race of any sort. I like the money, but it's not in line with the rest of what the game is trying to do.

How big is the next update because I have only got the 400 GB PlayStation 4 gran trisomo 7 takes 224GB I have only left 180GB of storage left
GT7 is only 114GB (or really close) on PS4. Dude, you've already been called out for outright lying

Just make up a number and pretend it's real; making stuff up really does seem to just be your thing, so why not.

Still waiting for your proof by the way. I won't ask a fourth time.

After new update I see you don't get ticket anymore after daily workout why
It happens sometimes. I tried that "clock glitch" two times and I always got no ticket the day afterwards.

Yesterday I got no ticket for no reason but today it was fine. So don't worry, it's just a bit buggy.

In case anyone is curious, you will need to amp up your grinding efforts. PD have added extreme settings and specific operational setups in relation to customisable transmissions incorrectly calculating PP. They know and are aware now, so any update that brings forth big bug updates will kill the Tomahawk X builds

Because a lot of the functionality of the game is coded to be delivered from the servers. The events, the Used Cars and Legend cars, probably a lot more, is all delivered live from their servers. To change that would require major re-writing of the game and that isn't something they're going to do.

You can't play offline because you don't have access to most of the game when you're not connected.

They've made their choice, the game is a live internet delivered game now.

Well, it doesn't have to be that way, most of the game is focused on Singel Player mode, so it should be able to be played without being connected

The only thing they will achieve is that the game is a paperweight once the servers have closed

It doesn't have to be, no, but that is what they have chosen.

They're very unlikely to change this.

It does have to be that way, because that's how it's been designed to be. Every time the game saves, which is pretty much every action you make, the data is checked and saved to the server.

We're not talking about a simple, GT5-esque patch to obviate the rare occasions the game communicates with the server to make it available. The game would need to be fundamentally changed across its entire structure.

This hasn't even happened for GT Sport yet, and that's less reliant on the connection and due to be retired probably by the end of summer. It's not going to happen for GT7 during its active lifetime full stop - if at all.

Sorry for my stupid question but is this relevant for people who did not try that tomahawk glitch? I'm not completely understanding your second sentence. (English is not my main language)

Well NO, Gran Turismo has always been a saga to enjoy both solo and multiplayer WITHOUT THE NEED TO BE CONNECTED, this is not a Gran Turismo nor is it ANYTHING, it's just a GT Sport 2.0

As for that, Sport it is true that they have not closed it, but I would not be surprised if they closed them and they are unusable

Is it really what we want in the saga, that instead of games they are PAPERWEIGHTS?

I understand your point but come on... As it has been explained to you: Its a major task to change Gt7 that way and also they have good reasons for their choice. They don't want to mock players...

To be honest I only see 1 problem: Servers have to be constantly online. Let's be honest, that's the case for 99 percent of the time.

The game not running anymore in several years is also not that new... I mean most games won't be playable some day because of missing servers and big day one patches you needed for the game. Its not a big difference imo.

If they could just make the game playable offline, they would do it imo. It's more complex.

Well, YES. Whatever you think it should be doesn't really take anything away from the fact that it is this way.

GT7 will never be fully playable offline in its lifetime because it is entirely constructed around a permanent online connection. Nothing short of a complete overhaul of the game's base functionality will reverse this, and it's just not going to happen; in fact I doubt it will ever be playable offline, because there'll be no impetus to do such extensive rewriting on it once the next game is out. I can't even see it happening for GT Sport.

GT5 and GT6 were relatively easy to rework, because they weren't reliant on the connection permanently, just the occasional server check when saving or for online play. It is fundamental to Sport and 7, and no amount of complaining will change that.

From where I'm sittin it's a GT game. Kinda has less content but it's still a GT game, great visuals, good physics, good soundtrack, uniqueness etc...
I think you on some hyperbole

Well, if the game takes ~114gb space, and updating games on ps4 requires same amount of free space, then Gt7 “takes” ~224gb space, no?

Not a stupid question. If you haven’t tried the Tomahawk glitch yet, it still works. But now PD know of the glitch and will be patching it some time in the near future. So anyone that hasn’t done the glitch yet and wants lots of credits quickly, you should jump onto it right now

It doesn't. It requires the same amount of free space plus the amount of space required for the download... ordinarily. There are also rare occasions wherein a single data block (4GB) can be modified without requiring the entire game to be copied).

If the next update (which nobody can possibly have any idea about at this point) is 1GB and GT7 is already 114GB (no idea, don't have it installed on PS4), the amount of free space required to apply that update on PS4 would be 229GB.

Yes, so the game would “take” 229gb space.

No, it'd "take" the space it occupies on the PS4's hard drive. Updating it would require that much free space again plus enough free space to download the update.
