Gran Turismo listed in 'first batch' of PS3 released game

i guess so. Nothing is confirmed tho. So its really just speculation past the point that SOny announced a GT series game as first line of games released under the PS3.

So i suppose a good idea would be to release Vision.

Yep, all speculation, Kaz has never talked about a revised GT4 for PS3. Vision GT is a demonstration of whats to come in the GT series, not an actual game itself and if you noticed at the beginning of the second Vision GT video we actually get to see what the standard of the car modelling will be like in the next home console GT game. The PS3 GT game PD are working on right now is GT5, Kaz has stated that, but he's not said anything at all, ever about a re-vamped GT4. It's not impossible that we'll see a revised GT4, but neither Sony, Kaz or PD have said orhinted at such a game in the works. I seriously think it would be a bad move for them to do that, think about it, they have Tourist trphy, GT mobile and GT5 all being worked on now, PD arn't super huge, they're a big team when they're all working on one game, bu spreading them over 3 games is bad enough, sticking a fourth game in there just wouldn't make sense.

Either way, if there is a GT series game released as first line title for the PS3 and people here keep saying GT5 ain't released 'till 2007. Then what 'could' be released for the first line of PS3 (which will be in 2006)?

That's why i said GT4 Vision (or the equivalent anyways) could be a release. And would be interesting. Either way, here's the link, you guys think whatever you want about this. I'm just reporting.

We'll have to wait until we hear more about the PS3's release schedule. The only thing pointing towards a GT4 update, or a GT5 Prologue type game is that the PS3 is supposed to lauch mid this year, and GT5 has been slated for 2007. Maybe it's Sony baiting people into waiting for the PS3 some more, like they baited people into buying a network adapter with GT4's online mode that we never got and the subsequent GT4 online that Kaz was going to release sometime last year that we never heared about again once GT4 hit the shelves. Imo it just doesn't make sense for PD to be working on GT5 for 2007 and release another PS3 GT game mid-2006 especially when they've got as much work on as they have at the moment with other titles.
 
:sigh: Damn it... I'm not going to go though this again on here like I did with GT4. You guys, this site, and that damn game almost drove me insane. :grumpy:
 
I'll take a revapmed(tweaked, bug free, 720p 4xMSAA, more stuff, online play,) GT4 preloaded on the HDD for free....

GT5 Prologue? I'd care if it sees a US release.
 
Id' take a revamped GT4 for free, I wouldn't pay for it though.
