Quite the opposite, the symphony of a screaming 4-rotor is just the tonic needed to keep your concentration, bonus that it sounds fantastic too .

The noise was so loud that it caused permanent hearing damage for one of the drivers (Volker Weidler) when they won Le Mans, apparently he had no ear plugs for one of the stints (depending where you read he either dropped them before getting in the car or wanted to enjoy the engine noise), the damage ended his career aged 30 which is nothing in sportscars.

Got my livery sorted. Hopefully I can get at least 1 Mercedes on the podium at Monza today.... I might have to do a 2-stop with an additional splash. Flat-out this thing gets 16 laps on a tank.

I know that Johnny Herbert had an issue which meant he had to miss the podium ceremony.
