GT Allstars: Which car to use?

I tried using an ARTA NSX (I believe)...didn't matter how cleanly I drove, I just couldn't keep up.

So, before I waste money on something else to beat these types of events...what's the go to car to use?

I also would like to know that. I tried the R8 with almos 900hp and the Veyron with 1100hp, but i just can't keep them on the track in Nurburgring and Cape Ring :\

I used the Minolta toyota 88C-V that i won from the 'like the wind' extreme event.

You really need an LMP/Group C car in my opinion.

What did you use to complete Like the Wind?

People are saying that you should skip all-stars until you've beaten the like the wind series in extreme races, there you win some sort of race car that's capable of beating all-stars. The poly cup is pretty easy though, I've beaten it in a 430 (minor tuning), a RUF yellowbird (minor tuning), an F40 (tuned out) and a R34 (tuned out).

Yeah, the polyphony digital cup is really easy, if you probably have a car good enough in the garage to beat it by this point in career. But i have no clue how to beat the GT-Allstars championship... but if you win the Minolta toyota after beating like the wind, then thats what ill be using! I havent beaten like the wind, but if its anything like GT4, then just use the Veyron you should have by now... tuned up that car will do 240's.

I tried the Veyron but it's too slow accelerating and handles like a dog.
Also Indy has turns that require slight braking, it's not flat out.

I tuned up a ZR-1, with Race Modify kit and made sure my set-up had minus toe, long gear ratios etc

I used a fully tuned veyron for this, worked fine, was a hard drive but was ok, or i did b spec until level six and unlocked the mazda furai, used that to do the 'like the wind' races and won the toyota 89' lmp car. that should easily win that event.

i used the 787B stealth model, which incidently is probably capable of winning GT allstars as well, but like the wind isnt as hard as GT all stars, you could probably do it a worse car.

ZR-1 RM with all the upgrades did it for me. Gold in all events. This car is very close in performance to the race cars. Even if one overtakes you, you can still catch it and regain the lead.

Yeh if you have the 787B stealth model, use that, it will win easily.

if this is the series in expert then i used the mazda race car 91 i won this car for driving 2000k's maby 3000k's cant really remember now

the zonda R can also win this(another car i won)

like the wind 1: tuned GTR
like the wind 2: ZR1 fully tuned RM with full down-force, brakes full at the front, and high gear ratios.

GT allstars: even though it took me 3 goes of the championship, i did the whole thing in a fully upgraded GTR with ~800hp. i got 4 golds, 1 silver, and 1 fourth (hate the tokyo circuit)

Managed to beat the event easily with huge time advantage using XJ13 Race Car Chrome Line. You don't even have to change the tyres.
