GT Sport (November) Update Theory Discussion

I'm going for a realistic prediction like everyone else here in this thread.

Spec 2.0 with Spa, Laguna Seca, Yas Marina, Zolder, COTA, Deep forest, Grand Valley and Trial Mountain.

As for cars: Every Ferrari, lamborghini, Porsche, Cizeta, Lancia and Lada ever made.

The update will contain dynamic weather, Day/night cycle, damage, PSN name changes, and the cure to cancer.

"WTF PD, where is my 92 Ford Fiesta?????? I'm moving to PC2"

This is just a wishlist lol. Well in that case what I'd like to see is Trial Mountain making a comeback. That's been my favorite GT track since I was 5 years old, I've got god knows how many photos of cars sliding around that track's scenery lol.

As far as cars, I just want my AE86 back. I don't care much for anything else, if any game has the AE86 I'm good with a car game lol. I doubt we're gonna get anything special from PD though, aside from a big "thank you!" decal in the update notes, and maybe some more old school career mode races.

Anyway cars i want to see are :-

High Important:-
-Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 '09 (N600)
-Nissan 370Z (N300)
-Nissan GT-R R34 (Gr.2)

Less Important:-
-Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 SV '09 (N700)
-Nissan Silvia S15 (N200)
-Nissan GT-R '07 (N500)
-BMW Z8 (N400) (I feel it will be added soon)
-Ford Focus 'RS 99 (N200)
-Suzuki Escudo pikes peak special '98 (Gr.X)
-Mazda RX-8 (N300)
-Lamborghini Reventon '08 (N600) (I feel it will be added soon)
-Mitsubishi 3000GT (N300)
-Toyota Celica GTS '99 (N200)
-Volkswagen Beetle RSI '00 (N200)
-Chevrolet Camaro '02 (N200)
-Chevrolet Corvette C4 (N300)
-Ford Mustang GT '99 (N200)

-Volkswagen I.D.R pikes peak (Gr.1)
-Porsche Boxster '00 (N300)
-Suzuki Swift Sport '17 (N100)
-BMW M125i'13 (Gr.4)

I suspect there is no anniversary update as such but I would like to see something happen.

I'm planning to do my own little review in pictures to mark 1 year of the game, I really wasn't sure how GT Sport was going to play out but it has
had more than enough content to keep me going for the past year and I'm still having to find time to finish the campaign (dang online racing :))

I am happy were coming up for the 1st year, let's see what the next one brings. 👍

I just want something lightweight with good power to weight ratio, just as the Red Bull Junior. I think GTS needs more of these cars.

Few that came to my mind which would be great to have.
Bac Mono
Caterham SP/300.R
Radical SR1/SR3/SR8/RXC Spyder
Caparo T1

For a anniversary update, I'd like to see them return Campaign mode to the as released challenge of completing them. By this I mean, make it so zero contact (cars, walls, etc.) is required in order to pass the challenge. This is for both Driving School and Mission Challenges. Zero contact teaches clean driving, as it currently stands, they are teaching 'how to look bad' by allowing you to biff cars out of the way in order to complete the challenge.

Wasnt there some news about Evolution and Polyphony sharing models? Or outsourcing to each other? I cant find the link.

Honda S660 is outsourced for example, but not from DriveClub. They can make cars from DriveClub list starting from scracth if its impossible to get them from Evolution studios

I'm thinking this GTI

I added this car to very possible standard returns. Not as possible as Celicas, Subarus, or Civics but still up there with non Japanese like XJ220, M3 E46, 190E and so on.

I guess that time when PD teased an update for the whole month are long gone.....

I don’t know why they don’t engage with the community more. All we get is a pic or two each day. At least tease a couple of cars to keep the buzz high.

If Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, Grand Valley and so on return will they be changed? They might be closer to GT1-2 versions, because Alsace Village has roads (road markings) similar to ones from older GTs.

One thing I hope the circuit isn't just a recycle of existing tracks such as Dragon Trail, Alsace etc.

People asking to be teased like they Chaka Demus.
If you know about GTPlanet, let alone post, you should be considered a hardcore GT enthusiastic. Trouble is for everyone of us there are 1,000, probably closer to 10,000, casual players.

The very reason the FM franchise has continued to gain mindshare on GT (if not sales) is because their community relations are unmatched. In a typical month, you hear many times more feedback & updates from Forza’s community channels, than we’ve recieved from PD the entire life of GT Sport.

So what many would say. But if they’re not pumping out new GT’s every year or two it’s imperative they nurture and grow the userbase of GT Sport. The most annoying aspect is this is a relatively low cost endeavour. There are guys on social media doing PD’s job for them. Imagine what they could do in a full-time position and insider info.

Maybe this is a 1 year anniversary update, maybe not. The thing i would absolutely love to have is to change the logo colors to the exact same color as your car. But that is my second thing on my list.
