Has anyone else ever suspected that the brake balance controller in [size=+1]GT1[/size] has an effect on car handling -- specifically understeer and oversteer tendencies -- even when you are not using the brakes?
I seem to notice this with NSX's and FD RX-7's.
It's like the brake balance controller has an effect whenever you'r decelerating, whether-or-not you are using the brakes to decelerate. And at times it seems like the effect is there even when you're not decelerating. (I.e. moving balance from the front to the rear will reduce understeer and increase oversteer (or conversely) in all situations--not just braking).
Oh well, those two finicky cars definitely seem to work better for me with closer to even brake distribution than I normally use--prevents surprising pulls and spins.
