I guess my work here is done.
Chaser fan has kindly supplied the upto date tracklist, and that thread is now stickied.

Please direct all track talk to that thread.

Im creating this thread in order to keep an upto date list of tracks that are or potentially are for Gt4, rather than having to remeber where my paper list is.
Will try to keep it updated as more info arises.

Ummmm, look up ^^^

There are stickied threads on this already.

YOSEMITE is a major national park in California... most likely this would be a rally track if they're referring to that locale.

Um, which SSR11?

The one from GT1, or the one on GT3?

But I mostly preffer the GT1 version, that course is much harder than the crap on GT3.

I don't recall this being done before definitively, there's no sticky dedicated unless it's buried in GT4 Info.

Yeah, I know, Eagle. I'm stumped myself as to where such a list was kept. Either the thread in question was mentioned and not stickied, or what was stickied is not this topic, or what. I'm baffled. Help a brother out.

Thanks guys.
I spent about an hour assembling this post then Neon Duke imediatley pounced on it.
Ive been coming here steadily everyday for well over six months and never seen a difinitive list of tracks that are potentially there for GT4.
i fully intended to keep this as up to date as possible when new sightings or information arises.
I been through most of the stickies and cant see what duke was on about.

Ijust bought the play magazine. And it had a cd with a prescreen of GT4. It was a street rally track realy wicked. Was maybe in Greece or Italy. The car was the GT40 (new one). Was really wicked!

That would be Citta D'Aria I believe, the video's floating around on a few sites. Have a search and I'm sure you'd find it if you're interested in seeing it in action.

As mentioned, this is basically old news, but I think I'll enjoy this feature. I don't have a USB printer or anything like that, but every once in a while, I'd love to just take pictures of my cars. I do have about two USB ports on my slightly outdated computer. I may need a long cord to connect to my PS2 to upload pictures to it. The end of this cord that I have has an end in which the I-Link thing can be connected. But I will say this. Photo Mode will be very fantastic. Can you imagine how many people will want to photograph their car to make them on their Desktops or something? Little kids might get into this as well.

Now to address something that GT-Unit mentioned. I know my buddy Eagle will DEFINITELY have his say, but I like staying on GTPlanet for info on GT4. Sometimes, even outdated and old news still make for good reminders. As mentioned in an old Looney Tunes cartoon, there was this episode with Daffy Duck in Hollywood, and the relevance to that is where I get this quote:

"Gold is where you find it."

So when people post stuff that's been covered before, you have to remember that not a lot of people know what they are looking at. Some people look online and post their findings here, not knowing that all you needed to do is do a search. But basically, I know I made a thread about my message to new members coming on to GTPlanet, and I just want to say that we don't mean any harm. I, as well as others, don't try to be sarcastic. I'm not going to put you down because you talk about Hong Kong being confirmed, when it's BEEN confirmed. Such threads (like this one) do serve an advantage, however. My best guess as to an advantage is that you're sometimes reminded as to what you see. So, even though material has been covered before, still doesn't mean it can still be talked about. But if 5 different people discuss the same topic, then it gets to be a problem. That would mean me and Eagle telling people to make Searches. But some of the old news I don't even know. So it's a nice way to get up to date about GT4 until it is released for retail.

While you're getting some foul responses, GTXLR, thanks for some of your findings, if not all of them. You take it easy until next time, okay?

I think GT Unit was being sorta sarcastic John.

Whilst this is a bit of a rehash of previous topics I expect, if you actually go search for tracks you won't find anything glaringly dedicated like this, for a while at least. So it's good that it's here.

Thanks again John And Eagle.
I didnt make a NOOB error when i created it and there certainly isnt a sticky for the tracks/locations of GT4, I know extensivley what this board contains, We have a Car list, but no definitive track list, apart from the fragmented information in many threads which just fade away.
I just felt it was neccessary to coralate (spl?) a comphrehensive list of all the loactions due to feature in GT4. This is not a thread for I wish tracks, it is created from numerous material sources, and as tracks/locations appear or dissapear, the list will be ammended accordingly, nothing in the list is pulled out of the air.

P.S John I think GT unit was just letting out his frustration That the wait is so long yet the excitement/anticipation GT4 is giving him is so great.

This thread is valid and should be stickied. If there's 4 stickied car threads, then i think 1 stickied track thread is alright.

Ok also just read its finsshed to about 85%.

Therers something about a new steering wheel wich turns 900 degrees. Althgouh some cars only turn to 120 or 180. It depends on the car...
Its from Logictech. It sais that every car will drvie differently, will have a different feeling while using that steering wheel, it also has a shiftknob on the side...

sounds good

search "Driving force pro" you'll get a billion threads about the new wheel.

this thread is about tracks and photo mode locales... thanks.

Is it just me or does anyone else miss the short versions of certain tracks?

Grand Valley East
Autumn Ring Mini
Clubman Stage Route 5

Not that I don't like the full versions of these tracks, but I really liked the truncated versions for some reason.

I did miss thoes tracks, it can't have been much effort for PD to have included Grand Valley East and Clubman Stage route 5 in GT3.

Please don't start mixing advertising and sponsorship with licencsng and what will be in GT4. It doesn't work that way, if LeMans is in I'm betting it will be announced today or tomorrow. If it's not announced during the race day's then I doubt it will be in.

Why wouldn't I mix it up. Gt is one big advertising campaign...

Err, no it's not. The fact that GT4 is advertised at LeMans has nothing to do with the track appearing in the game. The fact that GT2 and GT3 both had advertisings at LeMans before.
