Again, it is the track that drew me back to Daily Race again - Deep Forest Reverse was the track of my first and only A+ Gr.3 Daily Race win to date so thought I would give it a go. Did 2 QT laps and I couldn't get below 1:27 then I realised I can actually do suspension/diff setups for this one. Applied my old-physics (pre 1.49) setup, things did improve but still stuck at mid 1:26's. Played with the setup a bit more resulted in the 1:25.9 time below. Unfortunately still more than half a sec off the meta Porsche times so probably won't bother to race this time...
Despite only being 0.2 slower than my old-physics QT lap on under the same condition, I needed 2x the effort to get that lap in with the car refusing to rotate most of the time. Only then I discovered @GTRedman's setup guide a couple of posts ago - will give it a good read (Thanks!) and see if I can make further gain with setup optimization.
@GOTMAXPOWER I too prefer Deep Forest Revsese than the normal direction, the reverse feels like a roller coaster and the on camber corners works well on Gr.3's.
