If anyone is confused or wishes to know which JGTC car to drive or not for Race C, I'd suggest check Calster 25's Youtube page. He has just a few hours back posted a review of all the 16 cars available for the race + the gameplay.

This is the title of his video there -

How To Master Daily Race C - JGTC Cars Suzuka With Dynamic Weather - Gran Turismo 7

FYI, he's the quickest controller player & since I use a controller as well, his inputs/suggestions I can really dig into.

I like meme races. Nitrous strategy and a certain amount of luck in threading the needle (in crashes) and avoiding certain dirty drivers.

PS. And it’s always fun beating A+ drivers. 😁

What a banger of a thrill Race C is. I already drove twice. The first race was dry all the way & in the second race, it started drizzling at race start. Drove in to the pits the next lap for inters & stayed on them till the end as it kept raining. I managed to finish 4th & 2nd respectively in the McLaren '95. What a supreme car.

Plus, this race + car + weather change combo is enough to stick to & avoid Race B altogether. Also Calster 25's inputs helped when I saw his vid.

It's a good race, apart from the ridiculous straightline speed of the Diablo!

First race I entered yesterday, I found myself P2 on the grid 😯 - P1 took himself off halfway through the first lap, leaving me with a clear run to the end to win by 3 seconds 🙂

Gave race B a whirl, I can never get the Mercedes to work for me, it feels no faster in a straight line than the bmw and doesn't tuck its nose in as well. Tried the bmw too but had a feeling my usual suspect, the beetle would be my pick. Ran a 57.1 which is very competitive in DRB rooms. I had a feeling the lambo may be competitive and yeah also ran a 57.1, in the right hands I think this car is the sleeper.

Two races, binned it turn 5 from pole in the first race, fell to last, fought back to 5th. Second race was dive bombed, super dirty room.

Race is too short, needs at least one more lap, but I seem on the pace.

Your pace is hot mate, I’m struggling to keep up with you these days 😁

I popped a 57.2 today and still put me 9th in high BS lobby, better than the 13/14 I had with my 57.5 😁

Finished 5th though so happy with that

One lap longer would be nice. Such a short sprint. I've got the feeling people are desperate to make any moves as quick as possible. My worst starting position was P5 in DR B lobbies. Managed to finish a P2 in a cleaner lobby. The other lobbies people just ram me out of corners while continuing themselves.

I punted someone myself who, because of my punt got more seriously rammed by a 3rd driver. I waited up and was plum last. Still finished P12 and apologized after the race. The person was not angry at me so that was still an okay ending.

It’s pretty sweaty out there for me, I’m QT 2-6th in my lobbies and usually wiped out in the first lap.

I don’t know if it’s players returning and out of touch or if it’s a little deeper, people getting rewarded with places (not pace or thinking) so just muscling passed is now back en vogue, but having a race tonight with an A/B driver who’s car visibly looked like it was being driven by an 80s stunt driver, I just wished his PSN was Micheal Knight…..oh well, it is a try hard track car combo

The strategic element in Race C is spectacular. Due to the occasional weather changes and the persistent gulf in performance between the different cars.

Every race brings something new.

I've been sticking with the Gr.3 NSX so far, and checking the delta constantly for any Diablos behind during the second half of the lap is just one example of how you have to determine your gameplan accordingly.

It can be pretty nebulous, as my driving hasn't really been consistent enough to gauge if my strategies are working, but my theory has been sound enough. I've even been lucky enough to salvage a podium after misjudging the arrival of the rain and spinning out on my in-lap.

Apparently I'm not too bad in the rain, when on the appropriate tyres!

I’ve had enough of trying too hard in combos which dont suit me, I guess it’s known by the weekend if anything win like is going to happen and that mantra ‘there’s always next week’ rings true.

LM does bring with it divers a swipers so I’m time hunting and mid pack racing at best 😁

Had an imbecile of a Nissan this afternoon. Decided to knock me off the track for no other reason than he wanted to. Then he decides to get into a second collision with me which the game decides needs a penalty. Not a namer and shamer normally but this one needs it. Idiot.

Had a fun Daily Race A with me in bugatti, but my Daily Race B was really fun today, started from the back and wored my way up to higher grid with the ever so quick and solid BMW M6 GT3!!!
