For once I dared to make a prediction, which I tried to play safe by saying three cars. Of course I ended up being wrong.

There is a bunch of unused Premium tuner cars in Gran Turismo's archive that would go great in a future update.

  • Art Morrison Corvette, 1960 (SEMA Award 2006)
  • Blitz Dunlop ER34 Skyline (D1GP), 2007
  • Grand Touring Garage Ford Mustang Trans-Cammer, 1970 (SEMA Award 2009)
  • High End Performance G37, 2008 (SEMA Award 2008)
  • HKS CT230R, 2008 (Tokyo Auto Salon Award 2007)
  • HPA Motorsports FT565 twin-turbo Audi TT, 2007 (SEMA Award 2007)
  • Mine's BNR34 Skyline GT-R N1 Base, 2006
  • Oldsmobile Toronado (Jay Leno), 1966
  • Opera Performance 350Z RS, 2004
  • Pozzi MotorSports Camaro RS, 1973 (SEMA Award 2011)

I'm missing the Blitz Dunlop. It should have been there from the start imho.

Continue with disappointment for the next 11 months after this toy
until you get the next little toy from father Gran Turismo next year world finals
that you well-behaved continued to play Gran Turismo.
Maybe a dumb question but do you download updates or do you have to buy a new game? Oviously a newb

A year-old thread is certainly an odd place to ask, but no, you don't have buy a new game every time there's an update.

The updates come roughly every month, and that'd be a whole lot of new games you'd need to buy each time. They're free and applied automatically (unless you have them set not to, but then you'll be prompted to update when you start the game because you can't play without the latest update).
