Someone noticed the Ferrari was always positioned 1st in the trailer update, I mean "preview" update..

But what I noticed is the Porsche position lights (red dots on the sides), IF the 'Rarri is in the 1st place in all of the shots in the trailer,
Why is the red dot on the Porsche is on as if HE's in the 1st place? Is this some kind of a bug? Or something else.. 🤔

Sometimes the light is turned on and sometimes it is not despite him being 3rd etc.. (Spa, Monza = on / Interlagos, Fuji = off)

Examples :

@spa it is on despite being behind the BMW.

And @fuji, the lights are off when 3 should've been on since the car is in the 3rd position..

Maybe i'm just trippin' for noticing something as trivial as this 😅

  • toyota corolla levin trueno ae86 - toyota supra 2jz
  • porsche 911 996 - porsche 911 gt3 r 992
  • porsche 911 997 - porsche 911 gt3 r 992
  • vw beetle - porsche 911 gt3 r 992

  • daihatsu copen rj - silvia s15
  • ford mustang gr.4 - gac maverick
  • ford mustang boss - gac maverick

My theory ia that in preview trailer they showed hipercars on track that is used in WEC or random track. And that final trailer for update will contain Le Mans. We will se today or tommorow.

it has just to do with the trailer i guess, position leds are already present in the game and work perfectly

Just had a look at the First Nations Cup race and it’s just the Group C cars at Le Mans No Chicane. That would be fantastic for a new Hypercar only event. A one hour 24x multiplier worth 1,000,000 Cr.
This ☝🏻

Also wouldn’t be surprised if the special event for the weekly challenge is a ~5 lap at Le Mans in a mixed grid of hypercars and gr3 cars…

As for the engine swap, I’m hoping we can put the AMG gt3 2020 engine in the vantage 2018 to make it better on fuel efficiency. It is already decent on tire so having it drinking less fuel would make it even more competitive in the WTC800…

No offense, but this sentiment is definitely a you thing. The most fun custom races that I have are with the faster cars. The few times there's a GR2 or GR1 Sport Mode race, I hold my own. But, to be fair, I've left Sport Mode for a few months now in favour of custom races with these cars that you say "suck"

Go build an old F1 grid. I find 1995 to be the best one. VERY fun, and no Sophy required, so you have access to all the tracks.
not really bud, its been talked about multiple times by two of the best controller users on the game, that it's much harder to be competitive on controller as the down force increases, probably due to the way the steering works on controller.

Whether or not they can be fun is besides the point.

Go get a group of A+ together in a custom lobby with wheels & controllers. Have them all compete in GT3, they'll probably be somewhat close, I suspect wheels having a slight advantage.

Now go do the same thing with GR1 & I guarantee the gap between wheel users & controllers increases.

A DLC focused on drip fed cars that only really benefit one piece of hardware when it comes to competitiveness isn't exactly great.

Again, thats from two of the best controller users, from their own mouths when talking about limitations of controller & how it's steering is implemented (I can't remember the specifics, but something about steering having a maximum turning angle that progresses in increments through a corner, as opposed to the smooth steering of a wheel)

Either way anyone that uses both devices knows exactly what it is, hairpins are where you notice it the most.
