The assigning controls screen looks interesting! Looks like this time you can customise what controls do what, which many people have been going on about you can't do with GT4.

What I noticed on the screenshot from the display settings was that I only see 780p and 1080i but I thought GT:HD will be 1080p.
Or only GT5 that will support 1080p?

There is also an option to use the system settings, I'm not sure what that means exactley but I'd persume it means that if you have a different display setting in your system settings, then that's the one the game will use.

Great screenshots. It looks interesting. Too bad I don't have a PS3 . From what I see, it doesn't look like GT5 support the Logitech G25.
