Please, do not complain about the position of a certain item on the wall. There was already a given debate time for that. The members of GTP have voted and spoken. If you wish to see the thread that the discussion took place in, the list has links to the appropriate thread.

Cool Wall Nominations will be ignored if posted here. Try this thread instead.

The Placement Formula: Sub Zero is worth 2, Cool is worth 1, Uncool is -1, and Seriously Uncool is -2. Meh votes carry no swing weight, but they are included in the total votes. So you add it all together, then divide by the total votes, and that results in a number between 2 and -2. Now, The Cool Wall also changed under new management, and now has nine sections, as seen below. These sections correlate to that resulting number. They are, in order: 2.000 to 1.890(Miura's House Is Huge), 1.889 to 1.560(Ice Box), 1.559 to 1.000(Sub Zero), 0.999 to 0.110(Cool), 0.109 to -0.109(Vanilla), -0.110 to -0.999(Uncool), -1.000 to -1.559(Seriously Uncool), -1.560 to -1.889(River Styx), -1.890 to -2.000(Hell). So, there you go.

Original Message from Roger the Horse:

Ladies and Gentlemen of GTPlanet, the Cool Wall now has a spin off. A new spin off. A different spin off. Maybe a better or worse spin off. If I’m running it, probably worse. Just have fun and don’t somehow turn a thread about the coolness of Stilton into a thread about the coolness of Ford F-150s, and we’ll be set.

The main thing we have learnt here is that Shinji's Mum is cooler than the kids who beat Shinji up at school.

The SR-71 has failed to make it out of the Icebox. Will anyone or anything ever join the Miura in the realms of cooler than the icebox? That was horribly worded.

GTPlanet, Steve McQueen, and Ayrton Senna have a pretty good chance of going past the icebox.

Yeah. If he doesn't make it there I'll rename it Haruhi's House since religious figures are banned from the wall and I'm unafraid to show massive personal bias. I feel a discussion and a poll would be needed as to what that region should be renamed if McQueen were unable to make it home, so to speak. "Miura's Apartment" would be my vote.

Not Sub Zero? :(

Yeah, it's Sub-Zero. :P

That's awesome. Far better than my attempt.

Anyway, unless we get eleventy sickety zillion sub zero votes by tomorrow, Steve McQueen is going to be denied a visa to his own country. Obviously, this means that we're going to have to change the name of the top segment of the cool walls, and on my cool wall, it's going to be called 'Princess Miura's Block of Flats'.

So there.

You're having a laugh are ya mate.

I may change 'block of flats' to 'palace', 'castle', or 'really big house', and I may remove the word 'Princess'.

edit: The book that I'm reading right now reveals that "Miura's House is Huge", so it'll be 'Miura's Huge House', unless I choose to keep the Princess bit, because let's face it, Lamborghini Miura is obviously a princess.

In my opinion the Miura isn't a princess. A Miura is an elegant yet crazy bull that you want to try to ride but you'll get a concussion trying to do it.

How much did the Blackbird miss by? Three votes?
It was pretty close. I'd say 4 or 5 votes should have done it.

To be honest it doesn't look like GTPlanet or Steve McQueen will make it. The last chance could be Ayrton Senna but even then I don't know if it would be possible.

So I went back to the nomination thread and I have 3 picks that MIGHT be able to get into Steve McQueen's land/ Miura's apartments/ whatever we're calling it now.

1: Ayrton Senna
2: Nürburgring Nordschleife
3: Nintendo Gamecube

So.. a hot, mentally unstable princess, that you have no chance with, and won't hesitate to punish you if you try to approach her?

How about changing the name of former Steve McQueen's Land to the "Miura's Lair"?
