Body Style:
4-door sedan, 5-door wagon
Engine: AMG "M112" 3.2L Supercharged V6
Power: 350 hp
Torque: 332 ft-lbs
Weight: 1635 kg
Transmission: 5-speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front-engine, rear-wheel drive
Additional Information: The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W203) is a 4 door sedan produced from July 2000 to December 2006. The first AMG model went on sale in 2001, with a 3.2 V6 to match the performance of the new BMW M3. It's 3.2 V6 combined with a supercharger allowed it to produce 350 BHP and a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds with a limited top speed of 155 MPH, with a Nordschliefe time of 8:37, 25 seconds slower than an E46 M3 (although this time would be matched by the succeeding C55 AMG). Despite having more power than it's rivals, the C32 remained economical, averaging 20 MPG (US), making it 4% more economical than an E46 M3. Most C32's were sold as sedans although there were a select few wagons built. The C32 finished production in 2003 when it was replaced by the V8 powered C55 AMG.

M-m-m-m-meh...it's meh to the bone. Predecessor and successor both had V8s.

Prime candidate for sourcing a fine engine to put in a Classic Merc.

Prime example of a sleeper; I doubt most people would think this car has as much as 350 horsepower if they saw encountered one. It's a wolf in a sheep's clothing, and for that, I vote Cool.

The W203 gen of the C-Class is probably the least interesting and inspiring of all gens of C-Class for me (though in Wagon/Estate form it's slightly better).

Otherwise the C32 AMG is equally as Meh, if a little tackier and uglier too.

Uncool.

Handsome things, pretty quick in their day and seem to have less propensity to rust than their predecessors.

Balanced against them being at the bottom of their depreciation curve and in the UK at least, owned by the kind of owners who are likely to throw nasty wheels on them and drive like complete plonkers.

Uncool, just, for now. But I'd like to see them gradually saved by enthusiasts and rise back into the realms of cool, for being a performance saloon that isn't too brash and shouty and has the right badge on the nose.

I loved driving it in Enthusia, it had such menacing sound. Not many cars in its class could match its speed on straights.

It´s neither cool nor uncool....it´s quintessential meh I think. Those who know maybe interested in the parking lot (about 5 People in the world) and those who don´t. just do not recognize it because it just Looks so much like a diesel 220.
