To enter season 3 of the GTP D1GP just post your car name and colour:
    Tom's Chaser (white)

Also I only have a couple of ideas for tracks,
so if you know any good sections post them up.:)

    • Everyone picks a car to use through out the competition.
    • Tuning CAN be changed per different course section.
    • Season will last 5 weeks, 5 different sections.
    • Entrants will have one week to enter an uploaded video to
http://www.youtube.com, sent to me *SammiTougeGirl* by PM.
    • The videos will then be posted up, so 3 indipendant judges can score each one.
    • Cars will be locked after the first event YOU participate in.
    • You can get a max of 20 points per week.
    • First place will earn you 20 points, second will earn you 16, third will
get 12, fourth will get 8, fifth will get 4 and 6th and beyond will get a single point.
    • At the end of the comp the person with the most points will be
    crowned The GTPD1GP Champion.
    • Track/section will be stated each Monday
    • You have 1 week to do your run.
    • Don't be a thread Nazi with spam, or YOUR video.
    • Video editing etc. is allowed, but you need to show your tires and
power, and then your run. Your run needs to be on the FIRST lap, so we get
the same angles for EVERY car. NO chase cam, the other one.
    • Not following the rules can get you removed from the competition
for that week, with a minus 1 point per violation, this will be for constant
complaining, "put downs", double posting/posting your entry video in this
    thread ETC...

    CAR RESTRICTIONS

    • Road cars only, no race or D1GP cars allowed
    • No changing your actual car, only rims, wing and setup
    (Power/modifications/settings) may be changed
    • Tires : Radials only(N)
    • Power: NO RESTRICTIONS

I like having the AWD's and the FR's in the same season. Makes things intresting. Especially watching the enterys.

well..most of us have a "Capture Card" Device that transfers the data from your PS2/3 directly to your PC. that's why some videos are really clear and others are a little choppy(normally those are the cameras)

Simple recording softwares available are like:
    Pinnacle Studio
    Sony Vegas

I have Pinnacle Studio 10 Home version which ran me about $102.99 USD but there are ones much cheaper that have a very good deal of quality, and there are ones more expensive for even clearer quality. It's really up to the individual :sly:

umm if you have the HUB that has input video/audio/s-video then yep.
in pinnacle, mine looks like this
    [IMG]
if your software came with something similar to that then you should be able to record videos from your PS2/3 with no problem :)

Hey i just thought of a great idea!
Maybe we should establish a theme every season so the contestants really know what the judges are looking for
IE: Season 3's theme could be Angle, Power, or even control! Just throwing out an idea that just popped in my head :sly:

I was kind of thinking of having one round focusing on choku-doris on straights, or have one open with a mandatory choku-dori into the normal section. Just an idea
