Stewards Comments:
Veteran GTP_Mr_P comes back to the WRS and scoops up the top place in Division 1. GTP_Wanna_B's winning streak comes to an end with a 2nd place spot, and GTP_mad94d takes 3rd place. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

GTP_MJH improves on last week's 2nd place to take the Division 2 win. GTP_Ren-Tec and GTP_EDK do well to take the remaining podium places. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Division 3, my favourite division, didn't fail to disappoint again this week. GTP_LinPark takes the Division 3 victory, closely followed by GTP_Denur and GTP_zed300 who took 2nd and 3rd places. Amazing close final laps times throughout the whole division. Well done all. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Looks like we have a Week 15 rematch with the same 3 drivers taking the podium again, but this time GTP_Nuclearfire gets the Division 4 win, and GTP_DutchCustoms and GTP_MadMax86 taking 2nd and 3rd places.

Good turnout all, 30 drivers in total. ๐Ÿ‘

Thanks to Sjaak (again) for yet another fine combo. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

OLR Team. ๐Ÿ‘

Important notice:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware, disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS)

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see all podium replays for verification. All replays are to be posted here.

  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications

  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Hey nice one! ๐Ÿ‘ I liked this combo as slower cars are just nicer to drive for me, what with being an oldie and all .. it was only missing the disability bagde on the window  Thanks for an easy yet very enjoyable combo Sjaak ๐Ÿ‘

Congrats to MJH, Linpark and Nuclearfire for winning their respective divisions ๐Ÿ‘ and there was defo some nice close battles within the podiums across the board as expected! Well done to all

A mention of course to thank J-P for letting me use his set up which made setting the car up a 2 minute job .. cheers bud

Ok enough from me and here's my replay for the check .. Thanks
Ron.

What a comeback drive by Mr_P !!!
I'll bet Wanna_B gives him a duff tune next week :sly:

My time only good for 4th in Div 3 this week - some stellar times on the Div 3 podium again ๐Ÿ‘

Congratulations to all the winners and podium placers.

Incredible third place overall Matty boy, very very impressive, and deeply concerning for me in our upcoming Div 2 bronze match :scared:

Very well done to Ron, JP, Phil, Linpark and Kev for outstanding performances ๐Ÿ‘

All the best
Maz

Well done Ron. ๐Ÿ‘ and everyone else wo had the patience to drive that silly little car. :)

Thanks. It's a bit of a suprise. Good to know it was worth the bags under the eyes. Lol. Congratulations to all the winners and podiums. I need to sleep for a week now, so won't get chance to practice for our final lol.

Congratulations to all podiums this week!

Quite a comeback by Mr. "P" ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Special thanks to J-P.
I didn't do it justice but you've been a great help.

To make things easier on the admins, maybe we should just swap all of Div2 with Div3!

Some phenomenal laps this week. Congrats to all the podiums!

Nice win Ron :),

And to all with a podium place ,cheers ,

Thanks to all for racing the race.

Here's my replay. :)

+1 ๐Ÿ‘

Well done to Mr P and congrats to everyone else taking part.

Perhaps soon we can have a high PP and high grip event - suggesting F1 car around Fuji!

Nice idea, however, if an F1 WRS were to be done (something I think we should do at some point) there should be increased notice for the event. As I don't have 2,000,000 credits and often have to spend a while earning money to buy new cars for the WRS.

Great combo really close finish for us all.Well done to all podiums.

Div 3 how close is that 0.2 covers 5th-11th, and the largest margin 0.3 in
this car was about, less than 2 car lengths......... Fantastic!!!

Great times guys, some phenominal laps there. Div 3 really is a tough place to be at the moment with some fast drivers.

Well done to all finishing on the Podium.

Cheers,

Well done Mr P, congratulations on such a fast time around Eiger.
To all the division podiums ๐Ÿ‘
I thought I would place better this week, so well done to gtbadboy for your time.

Whoa, hold on there. I'm having trouble keeping up with D3 D4 . :)

Perhaps soon we can have a high PP and high grip event - suggesting F1 car around Fuji!

Who remembers running the F1 at Cote d' Azure without TCS?

Have you considered using an Uber save under your GTP tag exclusively for the WRS and\or other GTP events?

An Uber save? I get what you are trying to get at, but I still need to find the funds...

Congrats to all winners and podium finishers.๐Ÿ‘ Very difficult to go fast in this combo. I'll have my replay uploaded tonight.

Some of you were talking about all splits, if this is not the place for it, I sure someone will let me know.

36.048.....Best
26.728... 1.02.776....Best
24.852... 1.27.628....24.718...Best

Well done all you place getters you, you must have had cracking final sectors as I think we were pretty close until then.๐Ÿ‘

Nice lap Ron, good to see you back in the WRS... I had a 1'26.954, but couldn't get on to submit Monday evening :(

I watched a few replays (in posting order)

Mr_P: Impressive and clean, with the correct specs (except for running it under tag Mysteron71).
Wanna_B: Just as impressive (well almost) and clean with the correct specs.
Dutch Customs: Nice run, clean and with the correct specs.

Watched all of those that have been posted (redid some that Denur had done simply because I wanted to see them :) ):

GTP_Mr_P - completely clean - rules state to use GTP tag so I will let the OLR Admin team pass judgement here since he did not do that
GTP_Wanna_B - correct specs, clean and green
GTP_Denur - correct specs, clean and green
GTP_mad94d - correct specs, clean and green
GTP_zed300 - correct specs, clean and green
GTP_DutchCustoms - correct specs, clean and green
GTP_MJH - correct specs, clean and green
GTP_Nuclearfier - correct specs, clean and green

Still missing replays from Ren-Tec, EDK, and MadMax86 at this point and I need mine verified obviously before this one becomes official.

Attached is my PAL BD replay for someone to verify and also a handy spreadsheet that I worked up once all the times were posted. I assumed that the final times posted were for the entries on the leaderboard and it tells a very interesting story - Mr. P posted the fastest sector times for all 3 sectors on his lap and the person who posted the fastest sector 3 time in Div 2 and Div 3 won the division. It goes to show how important all sectors are in a race - somehow it would be really nice if the game would track your fastest sectors as you practiced so you would have an idea of how good your best lap really stacks up.
