Who makes that RS Cosworth? I need one!

I've got most of the ones you have, and a lot of others. I'll go through my collection a bit later, if you want. :P

PR: UT models theyre not quite as detailed as Bburago and about level with Miasto and id love to see your collection:) it'd be even better if u cud put up pics! upload them to www.uploadit.org but resize them to 800 x 600 first cos there is a filesize limit of 600kb

Ser0119:  yeah i know my whole room is like that

skylineGTR_guy: ive actually been looking for a gtr but i couldnt manage to find one in my local model shops and i dont like buying stuff off the internet cos most of the time its either second hand or toooo expensive! the most expensive car i have is the black mclaren f1 gtr which cost £24.99

woildnt know about dollars cos i have no idea what the exchange rate is! but most of them cost £15.99 - £30.00 the most detailed are Bburago so they are the best value for money but some cars only come in UT or miasto im not sure about anywhere other than the uk but there are probably different makes out there
some of the rarer ones will ocst more e.g. i have a site on my faves list at the mo of a ferrari 250 gto in 1964 racing trim that would cost me £32.00 250 gto but a while ago it was a lot more expensive than that by about £200:eek:
check out that site cos there are some rarities on there

second thoughts i just found an awesome site if u like the rare ones!

I've got 7 and a half so far:

A yellow Lambo Diablo
A red Dodge Viper RT10
A silver Beetle RSI
A yellow Saleen S7
A dark grey Jaguar E-type
A grey Shelby GT500
and a 1:16 scale Mini Cooper (1961).

All are Bburago except the Shelby and the Saleen.

The half is a BMW 328i convertible that I found on a road. I think it was run over by a real car.

I'll have to post pics of it one day or the other, when i buy myself a camera (you know how things are, i'd rather spend 600$ to make my car go faster than to buy a camera... silly me!) I could always find someone willing to lend me one, too. I have, in total (both at my house, and at my parent's place) over 50 1/18 scale models, that have been bought over a 6 year span, and at least 30 1/24-1/43 scale models. When i look back today, i still don't understand how i managed to throw that much money to waste like that!

I bought a lot of mine from www.ewacars.com

Here's my collection.

modelcars.jpg

I also bought a Viper GTS-R since the pic was taken.

Ive got about 40 1:18 models but these four are my favourites.
I also got a 1:18 Holden HG Monaro today but that pic was taken too early to include it
The Valiant Charger (green, brown and white) is my most expensive model at around USD $150 (one of 2500 built) but it is worth it as the detail in unbelievable (the driveshaft turns when the back wheels are turned is one example).
Within the next 6 months I will be getting more models from the same make as the Charger, and a big dent in my bank account

I have the first speed 12 i cannot find the second anywhere... i would love to have both, but i think my collection is in need of some porsches first... 993 turbo, 964, 930, 944 (that my car), and a holy 935...

BTW, my speed 12 is BR Greem

I have probably over 25 models of 1:18th scale Vipers and a bunch of other scales of the Viper. I have a bunch of other cars too but I don't know since I had to put them in storage because I didn't have any room (probably about 15 - 25?).

this thread was mainly because of my interest in 1/18th scale Die-cast models but it doesnt matter what scale they are really its just my preferance and i just wanted to see how many other gtp'ers have a model car collection!

ps. please try not to double or in this case triple post because many of the members of these forums will complain but not as subtley as this! please just edit the post if u have something further to add or a linked image as it shortens thread browsing times considerably thx

pps. WELCOME TO GTPLANET FORUMS! ENJOY YOUR STAY:D

This is a Diablo SV from AutoArt.

When I got the car a couple of years ago, I wanted it to look like a Diablo Jota.
It has been painted metallic purple from the original black, and the suspension was reworked to fit the larger wheels/tires. Yes, they roll.
